Pardon my nOObiness, but would it be possible to make an adaptor for GGTS to be able to use ANY 510 connection atties?

Like an Ody GGTS base but with a 510 connector on it?

THAT would be awesome....with adjustable/variable/whatever coming,I then could ditch all the rest of my stuff (and have adjustable draw) and roll GG all the way forever and ever.

Do a forum search; there's several threads. Using a combo of adapters you can attach any 510 on top of the control tank

UFS connector with GGTS collector tank will do the trick as long as you have a draw controll cap. Most any other way you would lose the draw controll so you might as well use a stealth cap. For this method put the GGTS collector tank on the UFS connector then take the inner nut off your draw controll cap but leave the p-ring in it. Then screw it onto the collector tank like normal. The UFS connector should sit flush with the draw controll cap so you could mount any 510 device (I use this for Ody drip mode) and still keep draw controll. The parts are already available!!

Hope this helps.

Thanks for another lesson about the flexibility of the GG parts! :toast:

As you can see the knurled nut from the draw controll cap (brass cap) has been removed but the o-ring is still on it. Then just put the GGTS collector tank and controll rung on the UFS connector and thread the draw controll cap. I can get more pics if you would like.

Heck yeah, this is working very well! Drip mode Ody w/ draw control is of course very very nice.
Assembled with my ufsV2 base, the crenelations stuck up above the draw control cap just a bit when said cap was tightened all the way down--

Unscrewing the brass draw cap just a bit with the drip mode ody in place sealed it right up though, and it's hitting great--

Looks nice in stealth mode too-

Do you guys think that a new shorter collector tank (maybe half of the actual size) could be a good idea?

Maybe same design, with the same features, just shorter.
If you remove the 510 connector from the collector tank you can do this your self.
I used a SS carriage bolt that fit in battery side of the control tank, a neoprene washer, and an o ring to do this.

I cut the threaded shank off of the bolt, leaving the square portion, which I ground down a little shorter.
I assembled it with the washer on the squared side of the bolt head. The o ring holds it in place and provides a seal against battery fumes.

I assembled it in the control tank, square side to the Ody, and rounded side to the battery. This way either button top or flat top batteries will connect.

It works, with a $2.90 investment, and a half an hour of effort, a grinder, and a cut off disc.
The Ody w/GG base is sealed off from the batteries, and the shorter GGTSw/Ody should be safe to use even if the Ody leaks.
You end up with a shorter GGTS with air control, w/Ody.
