While not being a pro at DIY, I've read that a lot of people will find that adding PG to VG juices helps to thin them out. Some go with a 50/50 or 70/30 (VG/PG) mix. With distilled water you'll want to add a drop or two at a time until you get to your desired consistency. Alternatively I think you can also use a pure alcohol like everclear.

I was thinning with around 2-3% water, but it caused my flavors to taste watered down (at 10% or 15% flavoring) so I stopped making 100% VG flavors.

Flavors count as added PG (unless you get VG flavors) but that wasn't enough, and the liquids were still too thick.

You're better off making a 30/70 PG/VG or even up to 50/50 PG VG. I vape 50/50, thin enough for most cartos (CE2s require some tweaking) and lots of vapor.

Unless you have an issue with PG, at which point you'll have to thin it out with water or pure grain alcohol.

My VG formula for cartos is generally 10% flavor and 12% distilled water. I cannot do any more PG then that which is in the flavoring, and then 10% is max before I am getting PG issues. I love the flavor of my liquids, and the added water allows it to wick well and opens the nic up more. For me its vastly better than any PG/VG mix. Mixing nic liquid is 100 mg in pure VG.

I have never had any luck with adding water. PG thins it out and allows the Throat hit come out. To much VG and it's mellow as heck. Straight PG doesn't give much vapor. In fact I have vaped pg straight just to see and nothing, nadda no vapor if you enhale at all. The most popular mix is 50/50 but others prefer more PG. Some of course say they have problems with PG but unless you do I would go for the PG start at 50/50 and experiment from there.

About 3% pure grain alcohol, or high proof plain vodka, is a good starting point.

For people with pg sensitivity, try natures flavors coffee and tea flavoring system flavors - I've had good luck with black cherry, caramel, cappuccino, banana, strawberry, vanilla, blackberry. For a tobacco base, tpa tobacco blend alcohol works. Faeries finest has some workable mints.

I use the above in both 0pg and with-pg mixes. I switch to others only for 0vg blends (yes, some people have vg sensitivity, prefer 0vg).

Absolutely no lack of vapor in my juice. Quite the opposite. This formuation is fantastic in a LR or DC carto. I wish I could do PGA, but it dries me out like PG does, and makes me dizzy. It does make flavors bloom though, so I do wish I could use it. Besides, mcnmphotos specifically asked how much water to use to thin. Not PG or PGA.

Thank you all for your help and methods... I do have the 190proof everclear will give that a try if it is too thick and also as a test for what I like...

I have leared one thing that should be made known to all that use medical hyp. needles on there syringes.... That you should dull them well before use as it is vary easy to stick yourself as I did by accident with 18g needle.... ouch. luckily it was one I had only used for vg and had already cleaned it.... so please use dull needles and be careful

Follow-up... thank you all for you help.... I did a few mixes this weekend using a juice cal. at 50/50 pg/vg and 2% 190proof alc. and so far they have all worked vary well..... one was still a little thick Kola Kick from tot. wicked but the flavor itself was so thick in the bottle that it had to be heated in a cup of hot water before it could even flow... but is a nice flavor.... and the red bullet was also vary nice, it makes agreat morning wake up vape....
