Blimey. I had no idea about any of this. If this is true, is it not irresponsible of companies to sell batteries with no instructions in clear plastic bags? I use rechargeable batteries for all sorts of things, and I would think that if there was a specific way that these should be charged, then the manufacturers (of the chargers AND the batteries) should make this clear...

I know! Alot of people recharge batteries overnight, not having a clue. While it dosen't happen often that you get battery failure, I'd personally rather be safe than sorry. There was one time I was recharging my eGo battery, and I went to see how it was coming, touched the battery and it was quite hot! I unplugged it immediately. I let it sit for awhile, cool down, finished charging it, and it was fine. But I'm glad I checked it when I did because who knows what might have happened if I had left it alone.

I very much like my Twist. I decided on it over the VTube and some other options mostly because of aesthetics and form factor (knob on the bottom vs. buttons).

A 650 mAh battery will not last me a whole day. If my day starts at 8, it'll be on the charger by 2…which actually makes sense. And I run though both of my 180mAh backup 901s well before it's done. I'll have another 1 or 2 coming, or a mod if I feel like it.

The eGo rapid charger works with it. They're also cheap. I'd buy one per battery…maybe one less (as long as you have at least 1). But I'm weird like that.

I like them.

SpringzVz: the link takes me to their frontpage. If you don't mind me asking, what was the price for the kit?

I think I've decided that the Twist is the way to go, simply because of simple battery replacement and the availability of compatible parts.

Anybody know of any other vendors that got a good deal on these? I think I'm going to start buying stuff in parts, considering kits are kind of hard to come by and for some reason, they only stock kits that offer a 1x 1000 mAh Twist with a 1x 650 mAh Twist, I'd rather have both at 1000 mAh.

Here's a link to a similar thread where all the work has already been done.

The Twist is a really nice PV, and will give you a true VV experience. It's not without limitations (read, read, read), but I'm very happy with mine. It's my primary "out and about" PV. Nice and portable (the 650mah version fits very nicely in a pocket), and delivers very good performance at an extremely reasonable price.

I looked at the pricing again and now I'm just confused again, hahaha.

The advantage I see for the Twists is simply they're slim, elegant, and portable and just about every tank will fit them. One of the cons is the high price and limited high voltage.

If I spend a little extra, I can get a stainless vtube, but it will probably suffer portability issues and to be honest, it kind of looks like a giant sex toy, hahaha. Also, the adaptability/compatibility is probably not as nice as the eGo C Twist.

LOL, I thought I had my mind made up but I'm still torn!

I have the eGo Twist. Mine is the 650mah, as I think I would find the 1000 much too big. My set up includes Boge 3ohm cartos (the 3ohm let you explore the full range of voltage), and a chrome drip tip. No atomisers, no clearomisers. I'm not sure you need to get all the options all at once.

I would also get a 'cone' to cover the thread on the battery. Makes it look MUCH nicer. And yes, a charger is essential.

You will also need a drip tip (well you could get away without one, but the small cost is worth it, I think). You may want to think about a back up battery too. I have the 1000mah eGo-C, which is almost exactly the same length as the 650 Twist.

Hi. I just got a twist. I only have 1.25 and 1.5 ohm dual coil cartomizers. I don't notice much if any difference between 3.2 and 4.8 volts really. Can you expand on what you said about needing a 3ohm cart to experience the full voltage range please?

gOOD choice getting the twist!
Now if you want a crazy amount of vapor, throat hit, and just pure vaping pleasure....i have not in 2 plus yrs. of vaping come across an item that works with Ego battery better then this.

You will never use anything else again.
curious?
lol.
Go and just read the reviews...i'm gravefiller in the post...and rok'n is a friend i turned on to these..he's above me on the reviews, every single person who posted a review can't rave enough about how great this 510 Tank Twin Coil Clearomizer 1.5 ohm works.

don't even think should I? For $3.95 and the best vape you ever had........or will have....yes you should!
check it out: VApingzone
Then come back and post about how you can't believe this is happening to me.....i'm in Vapeaven

I've been vaping for over 2 years now tried everything, and I can set you up with the perfect vape, better then anything else your going to read..just because i've worked in e-cig shop, and I know what works and what doesn't work.

Forget Ego Tank kits....(horrible plastic taste while vaping) they suck.
forget the Ego C kits....(same as above).
Do get the Ego Twist and purchase 2 or 3 of these (510 Tank Twin Coil Clearomizer 1.5 ohm

Buy them here: Vapingzone
Just read the reviews...only things that works as well (but you have to drip into atomizer) is a Low resistance 306 atomizer with 306 drip tip.

But let's get away from the confusion....i'm sure drip tip...306 is all chinese to you sooooo.....just get an ego kit , it doesn't eve n matter if it's a C, T, whatever...all your going to use is the battery anyway with the Twin coil clearomizer i mentioned above o.k.

Look... you can use an Atomizer...a cartomizer...a clearomizer...a Dual coil tank , they will all screw on and vape (smoke) on an ego battery....they are all 510 connections.
Anytime you buy something for your Ego, you will want to make sure they are 510...most everything out there is 510 based, but some are 808, 901 connection etc. but mostly everything will be made 510 because they are the most popular type connection, battery that people vape with

This kit isn't a twist..but you won't need a twist with these dual coil Low resistance mega cartomizers....you will get plumes of vapor from the cartomizers that are included (2).

Choice 1 - VZ eGo-Dual Coil Cartomizer Passthrough 1000mAh Starter Kit - Black
You can also use these batteries on a usb thru your computer..so you can vape and not even use the battery up! stick the cord into bottom of battery and vape away! (make sure to buy the 4.5ml clearomizers i talked about, they will be your favorite item to vape with on your ego battery .....ok

Choice 2- This is instead of the twist..it's Variable volt 4, 5, & 6 volt...and comes with 2 sets of batteries!
eGo-V6 VV Mod Kit - (4V-5V-6V)

Choice 3 - Ego Twist...i don't know of any good kits...here's 650mah bats for $21.00
vaperite

Ok, so now you have your picks...
just get any ego kit 650 mah (lasts about 7 hrs. hard vaping) or 1000 mah (lasts 10) hard vaping hours.
mah = mili amp hours....how long the battery will last basically.

I would choose Choice 1 i gave you, i have those cartomizers...they last all day hold 4.5 mils of juice....you can chain vape it, and won't have to re-fill till late at night.

So with that kit , you can use any 510 (connection type) atomizer, cartomizer, Dual coil tank, clearomizer.
The links i gave u right above are for my favorite items....i won't steer you wrong, over 2 yrs. of vaping i know what you want man, you want some heavy vapor as if you were smoking...well....

Go with choice 1 & purchase the Vapingzone clearomizers too.
Then you can buy twist batteries whenever you want...or get a twist kit but make sure you get the vapingzone clearomizers...it's the best dam thing for vaping i've ever tried.

Hope i helped you out....whew..i've got carpal tunnel in my hand now...lol.

Firstly, thank you, all of you, I have learned so much reading here! First few hours I was clueless, next few, less clueless but confused, now I'm in the 3rd phase, ready to purchase a system but as they say in horseracing "too much data" keeping me from picking "my" winner.

Here are my questions, hope you don't mind answering, I'm on dialup so it takes me a long time to read everything and already put in about 15 hours!

What is PG / LG (or whatever the initials are for the fluid base?) and the differences?

Narrowed down to these 3 systems:

Epower 14650, Ego Starter Kit, Kgo.

(Do I really need an Ego-C 3rdgen with replaceable atomizer?) Twist looks interesting but I need to keep my costs DOWN since I"m going to buy one for my brother, too.

Cart and Batt Wraps....I thought this was a good idea that Volt came out with, but I don't want a Volt. However, I'm a femalel, I kinda don't want black orstainless---like to dress it up a bit. (for me, I want to purchase something in chrome or black for my brother, who doesn't care).

I'm looking at a Bic Brite Liner highlighter about the size of a regular Sharpie and it's smaller than a Super Sharpie and I wouldn't want a battery much larger than the latter super sharpie guy .

Not sure what "throat hit" is, but I think I like lung hit better i.e., I like a nice vapor cloud, not crazy about TH.

I dislike cigar whistle tips, how to make sure I get a nice rounded mouthpiece?

Here's my plan: I quit cold turkey a number of years ago and stayed quit for 7 years and something happened and I went back to cigs. As much as I may come to like vaping, I'm sort of a get it over with person, I will probably use ecigs to get off analogs and when that is done I'll be done with them. I am on a limited income too.

So my system choices are above, what model etc. based on my other thoughts do ya'll think for me? All the alphabet letters with some of the systems confuses me

Hey everyone,

So I posted two threads earlier but I think it's time for a new thread and after watching a YouTube video and trying out my friends Volcano, I think I'm going to get myself an Ego Twist. The problem is, I don't know where a good place to get one is or who actually sells a kit for it - so I may have to build my own. I also don't know which charger is appropriate for it.

I'm thinking what I'm going to do to piece it together is to get:
5 empty cartomizers
2 atomizers
5 empty cartridges
3 Stardust/Sunfire Clearomizers
2 drip tips

Is there anything that I'm missing or should think about getting?

I'm thinking of getting it from ivape.net

Does anybody know what the difference is between the Stardust & Sunfire Clearomizers? Is it just quantity of liquid that can be put into it?

The 1.25 ohm cartos are useful on the regulated Joye eGos because the volyage does not go above 3.4 volts. They will, however, shorten the life span of the battery.

You do not notice a difference because the Twist has a 2.5 amp (approximate) limit.

The 1.25ohm at 3.2 volts is using 2.5 amps. When you adjust the voltage higher, you are still limited by amps and it will not raise the voltage above the amp limit.

I do not recommend lower than 2.0 ohms, and 2.5 ohms makes the best range of useful voltages available.
