 I asked the live chat at Blu Cigs about past shipment delays before i ordered. I was assured that if my item was in stock it would ship within 24-48 hours, still no product and here is the live chat response i got today about my order....

Reagan: Hello. Thank you for contacting Blu Cigs Help Desk. How may I assist you today?
steve dockery: I placed this order on the 27th, i was assured by live chat that my order would be processed within 24-48 hours!! I am reviewing my order and it is still in processing, after reading forums ecig forums blu cigs is bad about shipment delays and details. When i placed the order it was "instock".......what is the situation???
Reagan: Order processing typically takes 1-2 days but will vary depending on how many orders are processed through the system. Your item is currently in stock, but is taking a little longer to process due to a mass amount of orders being processed for shipping. As you can see we do have several items that are "out of stock" which we have currently received those shipments and trying to clear the backorder as well as process the new orders coming in.
Reagan: Your order should be processed soon. Once shipped you will receive a confirmation email.
steve dockery: That would be ok, IF i had been told that before i placed the order....instead i was told it would be 24-48 hours,
Reagan: Is there anything else that I can assist you with today?
steve dockery: YES, answer my question about my order and what i was told!!! Is this going to take 2 weeks, or will i receive it like i have ordered, or do i also need to place this chat discussion on the forums to?
Reagan: Above there was no question asked.
Reagan: The site clearly states:
steve dockery: you had no comment to the sentence,,,,
Reagan: All orders are normally shipped within 24-48 hours of confirmation. US customers should normally receive their orders within 5-7 business days. These time frames are estimates based on averages and are not guaranteed.
Reagan: As stated above due to a mass amount of orders processing of shipment can be delayed a little.
steve dockery: Figures!!!....i will put this on the forums for everyone else to see.
Reagan: We are also shipping out back ordered items.
steve dockery: Sorry, thats not my problem, its the companies problem,,,if its instock as stated it should have been sent
Reagan: Is there anything else that I can assist you with today?
steve dockery: NO!!
Reagan: We appreciate you contacting our Blu Cigs Help Desk. We hope that your issue has been resolved.

I had issues with the delivery time as well. They use a separate shipping company to actually ship orders. Mail Express. It seems to take Blu 1-2 days to process an order and then another 1-2 days for Mail Express to ship. It is confusing because they do tell you it is being shipped when it is still at Mail Express. Also the shipping number they give you does not register at the USPS tracking until they receive it in your town/city, but you can go to the Mail Express tracking and find out where it is in their records and if it has been shipped at all.

I am in NY and the average time was 7-10 days receipt after ordering. If you try and plan on that timeframe then you can keep yourself supplied. Their shipping method really is not efficient, but it is better than it was I have heard.

So... you've waited an extra day for your order to be shipped so far, and you're freaking out? And you expect them to ship your order within the 48 hours because it's your order, and all the back orders should just be ignored so that YOU can get your 24-48 hour processing that isn't even guaranteed? Sounds like you're being selfish. It also sounds like you just need to be patient. Or if it really bothers you that much, cancel your order. Because I don't see you being happy with the blu. It seems as though you went to order it with a chip on your shoulder already. And you'll probably hate the company and then project that hatred to the PV and want to send it back. You're right, the fact that they have back orders to ship out first is NOT your fault or your problem, but consider this: You're already complaining about having to wait longer than the stated shipping time. How would you like to have waited over a week because they had to put some other guy's order thru before yours because he was .....ing up a storm? Then you'd REALLY be ......, I'd imagine. Just trying to put things into perspective here.

And in all honesty, you're better off getting a 510 kit. The kit itself(2 atomizers, 2 batteries, 5 cartridges, and a charger) is cheaper(about 40 bucks), and you can get a PCC(charger pack that does the same thing as the "exclusive" blu pack) for $25, so you end up spending about the same you'd pay on a blu kit. The only drawback here is you only get 5 carts with your 510 kit, but that's only a problem if you plan on using pre-filled carts. If you're going to drip or refill your carts, then it doesn't matter. And while Im one of the few people that is actually happy with blu(the product, not the company. They never really gave me much trouble, I just don't like certain things they do like lying out their asses about battery life/charge time and how long a cart lasts), going from the blu to the 510 is like the difference between a 22 caliber pistol round and a .44 Magnum. The 510 produces ridiculous amounts of vapor compared to the blu.

If you're interested in the 510, check out myPVshop.com Electronic Cigarettes - Buy online from our retail shop. You can get a kit there for $46 something shipped when you use their coupon code(i forget what it is at the moment) for 10% off. You get to pick the colors of your batteries, LEDs, atomizers, and cartridges(whether you want round or flat tip too, and pre-filled/blank). You also get to pick whether you want manual(meaning you have to press a button to take a drag) batteries, auto batteries, or one of each, AND they let you choose what type of charger you want. It's called "Joye 510 custom kit builder" at myPVshop.com.

Whatever you decide to do, good luck. And try to keep a level head and not get so frustrated. And I hope I haven't offended you in any way, for that was not my intention.

There are a couple of other things you need to remember about the Blu as well. 1 year warranty - ALL parts - trust me it works I use it when I have to. / And.... just think about this, if they are really busy fulfilling orders.... then there must be alot of people who actually like the Blu.... Oh My God, perish the thought. Just sayin.... There are ways to make the Blu a vape monster - but if you are pizzed already over an extra day.... then maybe you need a different model.

Some folks whine when they have to reach over and hit that switch to roll down the window in their car. Just try to keep things in perspective. This is advanced smoking, to get the most out of it you need to work at it. That includes having to deal with slight disappointments when things don't go exactly your way.

I take it you have never had any delays in anything you have ever done, you actually like when the cable guy says "sometime between 9 and 5" and don't ..... when he shows up at quarter to 5 and you wasted a whole day of pay waiting for him. Or even maybe when the Squadron Commander says we should be shipped home by August and by December you sure wish you were home with your family, every time you ever ship out. I wish I lived in your world where everything works exactly like you hope instead of any possibility of disappointment at all.

What about all those who actually like the Blu? I currently have 3 different models / 510 - Luci - Blu / and also some pieces and parts from other brands / volcano - sidesho / and some slight modifications have been done to make the Blu a sweet vaping tool / Fluval polishing foam / sometimes even straight dripping. But for you I'd suggest returning to paper. Not everything is going to work every time. You will have disappointments and if you aren't prepared for it, maybe this isn't for you. It is not a walk in the park.... Once again .... this is advanced smoking.... grow up and deal with it.

Soap box passed along....

I agree about cignot's customer service. Vicki responds within the hour when you need something.

I just wish i could find a better deal on shipping from them. When I order five cartos that weigh hardly nothing i hate spending $5 on shipping. That seems overpriced - I wish it would be by weight not just $5 no matter what you get.

To the OP, i just dont' understand you flipping out over an extra day. I could see if it was a week - but one day? Sometimes things happen that are unforeseeable. I just can't see slamming a company on here by name and trying to trash them over being a day late. I have had some horrific customer story issues and as such just don't find this to be comparable. This is not all that terrible IMO.

I agree that people should think twice before ordering blu, but that's just because there are higher quality options at the same price or cheaper.

As far as the OP's complaint, that was totally ridiculous. It probably was a computer, but if that was a real person, I say kudos to their support staff for not taking the bait from such an unreasonable customer, and sticking to a consistent and truthful story. The OP was rude, unreasonable, and making a HUGE deal out of nothing.

My first PV was a Blu. I dealt with their shipping several times before moving to a better brand, and I never had a problem. Their tracking sucks, but they were honest and reasonably quick.

I'd be more pi$$ed about contacting "live chat" and getting a not-so-hotso AI program. That's more telling than anything else.

I have a feeling Blu is backlogged because lots of people order it because of all the friggin' side-bar ads I see on every other site I go to(lol). In the early 80's, my friend's dad bought a Beta-Max along with everyone else. Doesn't mean it was worth what he paid.

I've never had a Blu. I've heard lots of talk about it though. 80% "They Suck", and 20% "You Suck if you say They Suck". I do see that their prices seem to have come down somewhat since last I checked quite some time back, into the 'reasonable' range. Actually, their atty and PCC prices are pretty low. For a supermini, it'll work. I wouldn't want one though. I'm afraid I'd break the lil' thing. Prolly suck that battery dry in under an hour. Considering that it takes a blu battery an hour to charge (per them), that could be a problem....

Blu is what it is: a Supermini.

wwsfoam, chill out... I recently waited 3 weeks for a battery shipment from China & didn't blow a gasket. An extra day or two is nothing... when it turns into a week, THAT is when you start sending hate-mail.

Okay, let me change what I said earlier. If you decide you want to send the blu kit back, get a 510 from here: Tasty Vapor $25.00 for a kit like the one I posted earlier(not so many options though), and $4.50 for a battery. that's WAY cheaper than Blu. I like my blu, but I think if I could do it over again I'd just get a 510 to begin with. It's a lot more satisfying. That isn't to say I necessarily regret buying the Blu. It's still nice and convenient once you figure out it's quirks and how to use it.

I don't think people who don't like the blu suck, I just think they don't need to be so harsh and bash the .... out of it every chance they get. It's not the best, but it's not the worst either. The company isn't so great. They blatantly lie about things. And their juices suck, but it's still a decent product at least. It's overpriced and overrated by the company. I don't know what's Volcano's deal though. They don't pay for nearly as much advertising. They should be able to offer their PV at a lower price . A Blu pack should cost maybe $40 or $30. Even that's kind of ridiculous when considering a 510 is only $25-$40. I've seen higher, but I wouldn't pay higher. Anyway, yeah, you should send the blu back without using it. Just send it back, get your refund, go get a 25 dollar kit from the link I posted earlier. For another 20-25 you can get a PCC that does the same thing as Blu's, and you'll have saved 10 bucks. You can use that 10 bucks to go over to vapor renu and get yourself a 30 ml bottle of liquid. That should last you quite a while, and you'll be more satisfied than you would with blu. And you'd have the exact equivalent in terms of equipment you get with the 510 minus the carton of cartridges. But trust me, actual juice that you put in yourself is better than the stuff that comes stock with a kit. Don't hate on blu though unless you've tried it. That's all I ask.

Not here.

I snapped up 4 of the Tasty Vapor 510 kits and they all perform flawlessly. It's a great price! Plus, since they have flat rate shipping, you could pick up some really delicious e-liquid.
