Thinking about buying a Precise 18650

Hey everyone, I need some advice.

I have smoked for 13ish years. Early this year I ordered the ultimate ultimatum kit from Vapor4Life-Because it's your life - E-Cigarettes/Smoking Alternatives. It was great, the day I started was the day I stopped smoking. It worked well for about 5 months. The batteries were the first to go, after that I moved to my pass through. It lasted maybe a month before it burned out as well. I then ordered two of their longer batteries and I was completely unimpressed. For one I felt like I had to pull harder, I was hoping that the larger battery would have meant that the puff would have bigger but what I got was the opposite. I felt like I had to pull harder, and I couldn't get the same puff that I got from their mid size batteries.

I have gone back to analogs and I'm discouraged. I don't want to waste anymore money and get a regular e cigg again. I hate that I smell like smoke and I'm hacking up a storm. So I need to find a reliable, and powerful pv. What's worse is that I have turned 10+ people at my work onto vaping, and since I have gone back to analogs one of them has as well and I think my going back didn't help him.

I'll start by describing what I want.

• I want something reliable that will give consistent good performance
• Aesthetics are important but not super important.
• I want a mod because I want to be able to replace my batteries and not have to order them from an ecigg site and pay crazy shipping prices to canada.
• I want a strong vapor filled puff. I don't care so much about throat hit. I prefer 11mg juice which doesn't provide much of a hit anyway.
• I don't care about price. I want something that I don't have to worry about and I'll pay extra for that freedom.
• I want a puff that is better or at least on par with the quality puff I got from my pass through. Which blew the fuse on two cars with the car adapter and wouldn't work in my mac keyboard because it drew too much power.

What I'm looking at:

I am looking at the precise from Super T Manufacturing. I want to get their precise 18650 kit. It looks pretty nice, it's huge, and I've heard a lot about how well they are manufactured. Has anyone used one and how do you think they fare against everything else you have tried?

Can you suggest a pv that is better?

I'm making my decision tonight and ordering the precise unless anyone else can convince me otherwise.

Can you tell me what I can expect moving from cartomizers to a 510 atomizer? How often will I need to replace? Is there any other new wear and tear to expect?

I'm sure Precise owners will chime in. I haven't ordered one but it appears to be an amazing device that is all mechancal and has a LIFETIME guarantee. That means other than a backup for it, if does go down, it may be much higher to start out with, but in the long run its much cheaper with that sort of guarantee. I LOVE the looks of it and if I order one I will get the steampunkish looking brass accented one.

Its 199.95 but hey, sometimes you pay up front or you pay much more in dollars and frustration down the line...From what I understand it takes 18650 batts for long battery life at 3.7 volts or you can put two CR123's (?) in it to provide 6 volt vaping but I am goign off top of my head. I'd buy this in a heart beat if I hadn't already spent so much this past month....

btw you might want to look into the RoyalSmoker's E2 R4 cartomizers. Although there have been issues with it it gives a great full vape full of vapor and flavor and the XL of this will hold 1.7 ml of juice...it has no filler material but instead uses a wick...

Greetings OddwOrd: I have been using an 18650 for about 3 weeks. I also ordered it as a kit containing the LR atomizers, drip tip, batteries and charger. It works exceptionally well, exactly as the web site states. It is in a totally different league than any or my other vaporizers. It is as much a work of art as it is a precision mechanical device. it is not huge. It is in fact little wider than the batteries it contains. The high mah batteries far exceed the vaping duration and intensity of over two fully charged new Riva batteries. I use standard 510 atomizers and carts. The vapor density is very impressive. The P-18 (Precise 18650) is powerful and MORE than fulfills your six requirements. It is truly a precision made stainless steel masterpiece. I am not easily pleased but am very impressed with, the design, material and execution of the P-18. The downside ~ it is heavy . The switch is totally mechanical in function, if you are not careful you can trigger it if pressure exceeding the weight of the unit is applied to the bottom button. It also requires infrequent but periodic application of an electrically conductive anti oxidant lubricant. This is apparently necessitated by the stainless steel construction and the electrolytic action predicated by it's use. Vapor quality with a standard 510 atomizer and cartridge is in my opinion excellent. I have not observed any mechanical or cosmetic wear and tear to the P-18. The quality of both it's operation and vapor production has not changed with use. It is now my constant companion. The standard cartridges are wearing out faster due to my increased consumption of liquid using just the P-18. I have ceased using my other vaporizers so the Precise sees quite a bit of refilling. I am awaiting delivery of a juice feeding device from SuperTmanufacturing to address this minor inconvenience. Can't think of a higher quality unit. OldDude1

Hey, OW! I just ordered a P16 from Super T the other night! I didn't get the P18 because I thought it was a bit big for my personal taste, but, I think that would be a great choice! The P18 isn't THAT huge, but like I said, I wanted a pv that was a bit smaller. I have been using a RIVA Ego and a 501 for the past couple of weeks, and I'm sure I'll keep using them as well, but when I'm at home, I'll be using my P16. From everything I've read, Super T products are very well made, and those folks lucky enough to already have one in their possession, they seem to have nothing but good things to say! If you have the cash, and the style suits you, go for it!

I also ordered the Vapemate, because I think it will be nice to be able to hook that bottle up to the P16 or the RIVA and not have to worry about dripping or using cartos. Also, if you have ANY questions that don't get addressed here, David at Super T is very nice and prompt about responding if you use the "contact" button on his site. Good luck to you, and if you order one, I'm sure you'll be quite happy with it! I can't wait until I get mine in the mail!

You can always use your kr808d cartomizers with an adapter. SuperT does supply a 510 to 901 or a 510 to 801 adapter with a Precise purchase. If I'm not mistaken the 901 threads are the same as the kr808d threads. Could someone verify that please?

I happen to be using kr808d cartomizers on my Omega and I really like them at 3.7 and at 6v.

Oh and btw, the Precise 16850 will probably be my next PV purchase. Mmm such lovely machine work...

My vote goes for the GG Telescopic Storm... they're sold out a lot of the time which tells you it is a popular mod.

The reason i like this over a Super-T is because i can use other batteries by just turning the telescope part, and because it has a locking button, i have also got the magnetic button upgrade so there is no spring to wear out.

I'd love to get the GGTB because it is much less expensive and all mechanical as well BUT when is it available? I gave my email addy to them about a week ago and I have heard nothing from them.

The Precise line is built to order so yeah they are techinically sold out as well meaning none in STOCK, but David takes the order and put6s them together as they come in (I htink its 2 weeks to delivery)...

Seriously, when you hold it in your hands and take it apart, there is more to it than other mods, my favorite part is the adjustable airflow ring which is a godsend for me because it means i can get a seriously deep draw with cartomizers.

I guess it's all about personal choices, but most of the mods out there do seem to get positive reviews. For me, it was the appearance, size, and quality. That, combined with the positive reviews. But, I'm sure you can find the pv that suits you. If you want to be really cool and awesome like me and NurseCin, you have to get a Precise! (No pressure or anything!)

i have an P18. have had it over a month. you will enjoy the battery combinations of 6v and 3.7. If you get the stainless one it has a lifetime guarantee. Most ecig batteries put out less than 3.7 volts, so with a precise and an 18650, you'll get 3.7 volts every hit until the battery nears needing a charge.

if you want to use a carto, 901, 801, etc, you just use an adapter.

it is very low maintenance. depending on your atomizer of choice, you'll like both 6v and 3.7 vaping and it's nice to have that option. if you liked your pass thru, it sounds like you had consistent voltage, which you will get with this.

i use it with a LR 901 atomizer from ikenvape.com all the time, but cartos, 801's, etc are very nice too. especially at 6v's.

I'm sure the GG is an excellent mod but it is a bit too gimmicky for my tastes. I much prefer a simpler all mechanical PV. No switches, no wires, no pcb of any kind inside.

The Precise P18 is crafted of stainless steel which makes it the thinnest of 18650 size mods. The machine work is absolutely brilliant. The bottom button is silky smooth due to having only a .002 case to button clearance.

Simplicity and top notch machining is a grand thing.

The all stainless versions have a lifetime warranty.

I'm sure the GG is an excellent mod but it is a bit too gimmicky for my tastes. I much prefer a simpler all mechanical PV. No switches, no wires, no pcb of any kind inside.

The GGTS is all mechanical, no switches, no wires, no pcb's.... and has a locking button, and adjustable airflow.

I've seen a Precise in person and i'd say the quality is equal on them, you can't go wrong with either of them.
