Okay I've been dancing around this for awhile now and should have tax refund soon still debating which one to get I know from what I've read many say Provari is the best but it just seems so expensive is it really worth the extra money ( what kind of wear and tear do they take they have up to a two year warranty I know but seems like for that kinda dough they should have lifetime warranty on all their products lol.) I'm still thinking about getting one though, but have been looking at others as well, the buzz, the lava tube, and many other misc vari volt tubes I really liked the looks of the one on gotvapes site but they were sold out. Just wanting to hear some opinions from everyone using these as to how well they work and last etc etc. Thanks.

I didn't really mess around with other VV mods, although I was pretty close to getting a lavatube. Just went with the ProVari and I'm super satisfied. Read a lot of people's experiences that went with the LT first but weren't happy with it and got the Provari. I figured might as well skip the hassle even though I thought they were too expensive at first. I don't think I've seen one person that was unsatisfied with the Provari and that definitely says something (did a LOT of reading too). Yeah they're expensive, but you get what you pay for. You'll be set for mods for a good long time and Provape stands by their products. Repairs outside the warranty period are apparently very reasonable, but I honestly haven't seen hardly any people have needed to utilize that, they seem like rock-solid mods. In my limited experience, I would certainly say they are.

When you hold one, there's such a substantial "quality" feel. It's fun, it's like a luxury item that you can use all day every day, and the price doesn't seem outrageous when you consider how much it'll get used. And if for some reason you don't like it, they keep their resale value VERY well.

Hard to go wrong with a Provari w/18650 end cap + batteries + Pila Charger.

I'll be perfectly honest: I love my Lavatube clone. It's comfortable on the hand, it's not super-shiny, and it's less than half the price of a Provari. I also really am not fond of the way the Provaris look -- to me, they're too blingy. Then again, I also have a VV wooden box mod, so that may speak to my aesthetics a bit more. ;)

For what you'd spend on a Provari, you could get one of each of the mod-types I have and still have money left over to pick up juice with. And to me, having two PVs is a lot better than having just one, no matter how good that one's reputed to be.

Are you only considering tubes? There are a few VV boxes that are not what you might expect (for example - the merlin) and there are some VV feeders that offer a lot of functionality for the money (I've been using a VVPV for a few days and can't actually imagine a better PV). The VV REOs are almost here. There are a few other high quality VV feeders and some other really nice VV boxes that have a lot going for them.

To toss out a couple other box mods (based on six's post), this is the type of VV wooden box mod I have: The Max Woodie

If you're not a wood person, the same vendor just recently released this plastic VV which is actually really reasonable for a fully-custom-built box and can vape at anywhere between 3 and 8 volts: The Max Fun Box

He's developing some other mods right now, too. And he's on ECF here, so if you have any questions, hit up his business's forum and ask.

I like the looks of that one. That could make it on my list of stuff i want to buy eventually.

Another VV box that interests me a lot is the Big Daddy from kens Box Mods. Jimmy Jet has one and was kind enough to share his thoughts with me a few weeks ago. That PV sports a pair of 18650s and a varicool regulator. A pair of 18650s even running HV should last at least a couple of days if not longer.

I had originally thought of maybe going that route but I like the look of the tubes better which led me to thinking of a provari but price led me here lol. I really appreciate all the feedback you all are giving me :)

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the Buzz Pro. Not as many bells and whistles but, here's a link that says it's a better device ProVari V2 - Buzz Pro LR Dual Coil Shoot Out - YouTube costs less too. :)

That is one of the ones I was considering but wanted to hear from people who were using them in the long run and how they held up etc specially since there isn't as much price difference between the Buzz and the others when compared with the provari I might save a hundred dollars but I want something that's gonna last me a good while and that I can depend on.

Thanks that actually answered another question I hadn't asked yet because I hate the tank I have at them moment it either doesn't feed right or when it does start feeding then it floods and leaks back into the battery and creates a mess. Appreciate it.:)

The Buzz Pro will last you a very long time. Another one that I seriously considered was the Sabre Touch at vapermoon.com. They didn't have the HP model out when I was looking. They look pretty cool and everyone that has one seems to love it.

It wasn't the price that made me get the Buzz. Right now, what you screw into these things is changing so fast. The real sophisticated mods like the provari and the darwin are more susceptable to changes there. The Buzz just has a knob.

Yeah I had looked at that one as well I liked the look of the Buzz better though was actually leaning towards the Buzz as my second choice because so many good things have always been said about the provari and yeah what you say about these things changing constantly I know that's right lol how long have you had your Buzz?

Hmmm maybe last August. The pros weren't out long when I got it. I have serial number 031. There were a few minor bugs (cleaning out the threads more thorougly, etc.) at first that I'm sure have been worked out. I'm not seeing posts about those problems in the notcigs forum anymore. Mine doesn't have the writing on it like the new ones do. I use it just about eery day.
