I know I said that I wasn't going to get a Kayfun but my friend let me borrow the Ehpro Kayfun v4 clone and wow... The airflow really isn't as closed off as I thought it was going to be. Honestly I'm surprised at the quality. No leaks so far (knocks on wood). I did slice open my finger because the edges are so sharp haha. I put a 28g nickel build on it and it came out to .17. The temp control is actually working as well. I might have to pick one up now since I am so pleased with this one. Surprisingly in my opinion the flavor is better on this than either one of my Lemo's. I am sure that the Lemo drop would be on par. I use max VG and the wicking has kept up even when chain vaping.

I have 3 of the Tobeco Kayfun V4's. Not a single problem with any of them. Three weeks, no leaks. I'm using a 50/50 PG/VG mix. I'm really enjoying them.

Do the Tobeco Kayfuns come with extra o-rings? I watched a review on one and they guy said that they didn't. I was wondering if they changed it. It wouldn't cost that much more for them and would make the customer so much happier.

The tobeco k4's did not come with extra rings, just the tanks and an extra spring. I bought mine last week, coming from a v3, and I love mine. I didn't try another rba brand because the differences/improvements aren't enough to make me switch. Until the airflow and wicking increase exponentially, I'll enjoy great flavor and convienence. If I want rda experience I'll use an rda.

No, no extras except a spring. Vaportek has a Tobeco brand accessory kit available at a reasonable price. I ordered 2 of them. Fasttech also has kits available. You can get 1, 3 or 5 pack kits. The 5 pack is only like $7.00 and change.

I have been running a Nickel and Titanium builds in my K4 with great results. The 4 screws on the deck are great for making sure you have good contact and the coil remains much more stable. The new Taifun GT II is also a killer tank and the DNA40 performs real well on that thank also, it's a two post but easy to build for the DNA.

Keep it up folks! I've been hanging on to a MVP 2.0 since I started vaping and using iClear 30S mostly, just went to a iClear 30B a few weeks back when I started doing straight lung hits = better for me. I just got in a Kanger Sub, but waiting an iStick 50W for it to ride on. Looking at the posts here over the last couple of days makes me now want a drip rig for around the house. One question I have is when I see the term "Clone" as in this thread, it means not original to me and therefore not as good. Or is this a situation where imitation is the sincerest form of flattery applies? There's so much to learn past where I've been at for almost a year now and thanx again for the education I'm getting.

In my experience its really a hit or miss. For the most part the build quality is not going to be as good as the original. As far as performance, all of the clones that I have purchased before have worked great. I bought a clone Sir Lancelot mech mod and an authentic V3 twist mech and the clone blows my v3 out of the water. I know that I am not comparing the same mod but still it shouldn't be that much difference. The most important thing about buying a clone is to READ THE REVIEWS. I really can't stress that enough. If there are problems with it chances are someone has found it and wrote it in a review. Good luck with your learning and this site will really help you out.

I have an authentic KF4 and have only used Ni200 in it. TP is all about connections because of its super low resistance. I just make sure that the coil leads are very secure, the 510 pin is screwed in tight and that the juice control is completely open and haven't had any issues with TP mode.

Initially, I was using a single strand of 28g nickel but because it is so soft it is easily deformed when wicking if you're not very careful or have the shakes like I do. I have since switched all of my nickel builds to 30g twisted and wicking is a lot easier. Here's an image of a 30g twisted nickel build on my Erlkonigin. I have the same exact build on my KF4 but don't have any pix of it yet.

I have a .28ga nickel build in a k4 and its fantastic. I've gotten away from kayfuns and went with orchids, billows and goblins....but for nickel builds, the k4 is great. I'm surprised that I'm OK with the airflow but I am OK with it. Excellent flavor and vapor production with the right build.
That being said, the subtank mini has a reworked rba section. I put a nickel build in there...12 wraps on a 3/32 with .28ga....comes to .12 ohms. Incredible. I haven't touched the k4 since. But they're both great.
