I want to get in on the increased flavor and vapor production that an rba like the kayfun offers. But. I don't want to build my own coils. Could I use these instead? http://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10007181/1591604-pre-made-wires-and-wicks-for-atomizer-50-pack
What's a good mod that I could use these coils in? I'm not sure of the resistance but it says it in the specifications on that link.

I didn't think that different tanks could have such a dramatic impact on flavor. I knew that they produced much more vapor which is cool but the flavor aspect really sways me.
Please post your thoughts on a suitable mod for me. I'm quite the newb.

Also would it be absolutely necessary to get a meter to check the resistance on these coils? Or do you think they test them before they ship them out?
Thanks for any replies.

You can use those pre-made coils and wicks just fine in pretty much any RBA. Just unscrew your posts, place the coil, and tighten the screws a bit.

People typically go to RBAs to build more efficient coil and wicking set ups, these are what typically give that boost in flavor and vapor production. I'm not sure of the quality of the coils and wick you linked, but I'm sure they'll be okay. The Kayfun gives me great flavor that only my dripping atty can beat.

Do you already have a mod? If not, I recommend the iTazte MVP2 or iTazte VV3. Both have a built in ohms meter to double check your resistance, and are Variable Voltage/Variable Wattage so you can dial in to your preferred vape. The Kayfun or any RBA with a tank will look huge on the VV3 though.

Otherwise, I highly doubt they check the resistance of these coils before sending them out to you. However, it is just wire wrapped around silica. As long as the # of wraps is the same and they're spaced out the same, they'll be pretty close to their target resistance.

I wouldnt trust coils tat i didn't see made in front of me. For starters, depending on your juice, there could be too much or not enough cotton for proper wicking. Second, the wraps might not be the same and you'd still need to adjust them anyways or add/subtract wraps. After doing all of that you might as well have built your own
