What's up everybody. I used to be a regular poster here and have been away for quite sometime. Unfortunately my vaping journey came to an abrupt end once my shops quit stocking nic in strengths higher than 6mg. I tried to adapt by raising my watts but nothing worked. Tried again about 6 months ago by buying a new tank but even lung hitting 6mg through a Smok TFV12 at 160w does absolutely nothing for me and feels like I'm vaping zero nic with a throat hit. But now I'm hearing about these salts in much higher strengths

I was thinking about this being my last pack of cigarettes hopefully and buying a Nautilus 2 tomorrow to throw on one of my old DNA 40's. Any recommendations on strengths and wattage would be appreciated. I know they have a standard coil which is rated at watts comparable to the old nautilus as well as a sub ohm coil rated for about 22 watts. I'm currently smoking about two packs a day and have to end this madness.

I remember when I smoked 2 to 2.5 packs of Marlboro Reds per day - over 6 years ago. I don't know because so much of the equipment has changed. I vaped at 32+mg and higher nic custom blended when the stores could do what they want before all the new regulations but it was on the egos and then the 42mg on the vuse. And it was tough. When I finally went to better equipment I was told not to go higher than 6mg so when I started subohm-ing that's what I used on a .5 coil and am now many years later down at 3 mg and lower but am pretty much a chain vaper.

No experience with the salts - which I have heard give a much better throat hit - but I have a friend who tried to quit with me and had not been able to stick with vaping until she tried wta's and now she is vaping more and smoking less and says she feels more satisfied.

Hope you find the right setup to quit for good.

Upping nicotine may help, I use nic salts in DIY at 18% and like them, they are smooth with little throat hit and that's what I got them for. They may be worth a try, said to be slightly more bioavailable faster, which may help with cravings. IDK. I don't notice a huge difference, but perhaps a little.

Best of luck, also plenty of online juice vendors will sell high nic juices (salt or otherwise).

The commercial nic salt juices have been designed to optimize bioavailability, not the diy salts, different recipes. Naked 100 has a salt line and their juices are tasty. There are others I'm not familiar with. Simply google for nic salt e juice, they'll pop up.
The shop I'm going to tomorrow has Naked and it will be 20% off for their Wednesday sale. I'll probably go with that.

Not all their juices have salts. Maybe go online and take a good look at the Naked 100 labels, some flavors come in both lines.

And I've considered DIY but due to my stressful job with long grueling hours and a family to tend to when I get home, I don't really have the time or the patience. I do have a 1000ml bottle of 100mg nic in the freezer but planned on keeping it sealed for if and when regulations kill the industry.

But by going back to high nic and low watts, money really won't be an issue anyway. A $15 to $20 30ml of high nic juice will still be pennies on the dollar compared to Marlboro.

They definitely have the salts. Any recommendations?

Whats a good source for cheap DIY materials? The initial investment always seems high...
Some go with a kit some price check and order from here and there. I get bottles from ebay, cylinders and beakers from amazon. There are many good sources for vp, pg, nic, and flavors. I use Bull City Flavors and Nicotine River for most flavors and Liquid Nicotine Wholesale for nic. If you want to keep it simple you can get everything from one place but you'll pay more.

I think I'm gonna be alright. I picked up the Nautilus and a bottle of salt after work, dusted off my old Hana DNA 40 and so far I don't have much of a desire to.smoke.

Although I am doing It a bit unconventional with 30mg at 23w with the 0.7ohm coil.

I love vaping a 30mg salt juice in my aspire breeze(0.6ohm), it gives you an instant feeling of satisfaction. it's a great setup for work. I always suggest salt juice to people trying to quit smoking because it works so well. I think that's why pod devices like the juul are so popular, it's the juice.

I still prefer the full flavor of rda's on my days off hanging around the houze
