I have a Vamo 7 with a nautilus on it and I love this for convenience and it performs really well. Bout to order an eleaf iStick as a backup and I planned to just get a Nauty Mini to put on it but now I'm thinking about maybe putting the Naut on the iStick and buying my first RDA or RTA. I don't really know... I know I want to check out this super awesome flavor everyone keeps talking about that they get by building their own coils.

I'm not real concerned with difficulty level (I'm an engineer - built more complicated things than an atomizer ;) ) but I would like to keep the price reasonable while still getting the best possible design. I don't like poorly made stuff that irritate me. Not very conducive to the whole quitting smoking thing! So the price vs quality point is really a sliding scale, I'd just like to stay as economical as possible. So let the suggestions rip!

RTA --- much more convenient..... I will recommend the eh pro kayfun lite v2! Fantastic clone of the kayfun lite that I'm sure 5 other people will recommend. This is a fantastic fantastic device. It has been my ADV for 6 months. I have never had such a good experience with a device, and I have MANY... If you like an airy draw (lung hits) get the E leaf LEMO.

RDA --- I typically suggest the mutation x as an RDA but if you are only going to have 20 watts to throw at your attys, I am going to have to stray away. I would recommend the CLT or Vulcan... Very reasonably priced attys that get great review. I will probably purchase the CLT v2 in the next few days....

I'll second the motion for the Eleaf Lemo. I have one on the way, so I can't actually say I've used it yet....but just watched this video on it yesterday and the reviewer was using it as a dripper in a sense: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dc1RlVaXjUk He talks about using it as a quasi-dripper right at the 1min mark. Kinda gives you both the option as a tank or dripper. It is more of a tank system tho.

Lots of great Youtube reviews on the Lemo, and for the price point I think overwhelmingly positive. I bought mine for under $32 shipped at VaperCompany, and used the coupon code pegasus as shown on the review in that link.

I'll be using mine on an Eleaf Istick as well.

Well I went with the Magma. Looks awesome and the reviews are heavy on the "i love it" side. I went slightly crazy with the shopping this week though... (note to self to feel better: only spent $60 more than I would have on cigs for this 2 week pay period :p )

I will most likely never buy another RTA/RBA/RDA online again. They never seem to work, look, or feel the way they appear in the ad or review. I have a shelf full of those failures; everything from Kayfuns and Russians to Plume Veils, Magmas, etc. etc.

The only two that have been perfect successes where the ones I could see, feel, and inspect before purchase.

You are in Boston. You have vape shops, I assume. Just saying.

BTW, this has nothing to do with authentic vs. clones. It is all about see before you buy.

We really don't have vape shops if you can believe that. There's one in Revere and I never go to Revere, one in Newton - not accessible by public transpo without devoting half a day, and one in Mansfield 15 miles from me. Those are the only 3 I am aware of. There is one place in town but it's price range (quote from Yelp) is "Ultra High-End" so...

Wow, I live out in the sticks, but they are poppin' up here faster than I can visit 'em.

I guess real estate is too high to make a profit selling two dollar juice for twentty bucks. :)

I'm sure that's a big part of it. I think the legal restrictions are another roadblock. I don't know what they are specifically, but I'm always reading about issues the head shops have and they are primarily the places branching out into vapor territory so... It's a real drag. Hell, medical ......... became legal Jan 1, 2013 and there are *still* no dispensaries despite the bill specifying that

The state is required to create a process for non-profit entities to apply for registrations to operate medical ......... treatment centers by May 2013... The state also has until January 2014 to approve the applications and issue registrations to the dispensaries...

Real hard for Massachusetts to adapt to changes in the times I guess. I'm outta here soon as my 16yr old graduates. I've lived here, in NJ, NH, MI, CA, OR, AR, OK. I miss being out west and think it's time I check out Portland or Seattle for awhile and the kid is totally onboard!
