I always smoked cigarettes like you explained it where I would inhale into my mouth and then into my lungs.

But when it comes to vaping it was just natural to do lung inhales from the very get go.

I've tried both ways but it doesn't feel very comfortable to me to inhale into the mouth and then the lung but I didn't notice any difference in flavor or in vapor production between the two methods

In the morning I take very very small hits and then by evening I'm drawing a full breath through my atomizer. Doesn't seem to matter how long I've been vaping I still have to take very very small hits in the morning when I wake up but by evening its full breaths through the atomizer

As far as it being more satisfying I think I honestly have to say that it is more satisfying for me to take a hit straight to the lungs with vaping then it is to go from mouth to lung

Ok, this might be a dumb question, but you have to open up the air hole to do lung hits right? The air hole on my RDA is currently about 1/16 in in diameter, and this is too tight for lung hits. How large of an air hole do you need for lung hits? (single coil/single air hole). I know there are different preferences but I just need a good starting point (on the small side, since I can always drill the hole bigger, but not the reverse).

If you have a set of drill bits, you could try the next bigger size, try it out, then go the next size up and try it again. It's going to depend on your ohms and wattage/volts. I'm running my Magma with a 1.4 ohm dual coil at 23-28 watts and using the 2 largest holes on the Magma which are about 3/32" each. As i get closer to 30 watts i kind of wish the holes were a little bigger but it still works pretty good. I think that after you take a drag and if there is still a lot of vapor in the RDA, you may need larger holes.

Hey Paul, If you are vaping an atty w/ 1/16" holes, it is best to step up gradually when looking for more air. What atty are you vaping on right now. There are some atty's that just don't vape well when holes are opened up. Some do have a tendency to leak when opened also. I have found I prefer atty's w/ AFC. It is easier to control as you can open or close the air depending on what you want. I was a MTL vapor for a few years, but now have move to full lung hits. I am vaping an Odin on a Reo Grand right now and have found it to be a very enjoyable vape. I also have a Mephisto and a Doge incoming to add to my vape arsenal too. I think the Doge is more of a cloud type atty and might or might not last too long. Not sure at this point. It is due to be here today and then has to be modded to BF. The Mephisto is also due in today and already set up for BF by an ECF vendor. Word is the smaller chamber is supposed to be great for flavor, for a 22mm atty. I can't really see it being any better than my Odin's, as they are great flavor / cloud atty's, but i'm giving it a try.
