Thinking about upgrading

Hey guys i have only been vaping for a short amount of time but already i am sure i would rather be doing this than smoking cigs, the only problem for me is i dont think these things are as good as future versions will be, we are using first generation e-cigs and im having a few niggles.

I bought me a PiLOT M401 which is a great e-cig but just not quite up to what i need, my main problem is the fact that as i am a trucker when im driving along in a noisy truck the thing triggers itself, also happens when i open the window, then i also have to mess with these little carts and use up 3 fully charged batterys just for my days driving.

I am seriously thinking about just going ahead paying the wedge and getting me a screwdriver, it's got a nice button so i control when the thing turns on and it seems the battery would last me all day.

Id be interested to hear from other people who use this, im not interested in how it looks i just want a "tool" that does it's job, works well and gets me through the day. Im still going to use the smaller e-cigs for going down the pub, clubbing etc i just want a solid relaible tool for work.

So what do you guys think, is it a worthwhilst investment for a relative noob? Im starting to think whats the point of messing about with lots of e-cigs when i can just get the one that does the job for me.

So if you have one, are they as good as they are made out to be? Is the 901 atomiser good enough for the screwdriver or would it be better to wait for a later version?

Oh and one last thing, every time i look it seems out of stock, how often do these things come in stock?

Yeah. I'd say for your driving session, you might want to stick with a pen style with manual button. (ie Janty Kissbox) - their batteries last longer, and also USB available too.

When off your truck for a stop and relax - you might want to take your M401 for portability.

Yeah i heard good things about janty ecigs but i suppose i would still need 4ish batterys for a day? And the car chargers would not run off 24v systems in trucks.

The more i hear about the simplicity of the SD the more i like the sound of it. I just watched another video on it and the reviewer said about it "it just works"

If i am going to spend all this money on pens, mini's, batterys and atomisers for each model, in the long run i might just aswell spend the money on one good device, that's the way i am leaning at the minute.

get a screw driver with a pen atomizers... bigger carts less filling good vaping imho... i dont know about the device its self , but i know my pens cart is way way bigger then my 901s... maybe thats an idea...

I would agree that the pen would make more sense on the SD than the 901, the carts are just too small. You dont want to be changing or filling carts while driving. You could use a dura cart on a 901 atom I guess, they are tonnes bigger.

Dont forget the Janty Stick is out soon, penstyle atom and nice big battery/manual switch.

After hearing a lot of great stuff about the Janty Kissbox i think that may be good enough and still look a bit like a cig, better in the pub lol. Im not going to order till thursday so if the SD is still out of stock then i may end up with a Janty after all.

I didnt realise you could use different atomisers and carts on the SD though, i thought it was limited to the 901, im learning all the time.

Really have to go to bed now if i am going to get 4 hours sleep so i will check back tomorrow. Where does the time go when i click on this forum lol.

Boomer, don't even hesitate, GET THE SCREWDRIVER. You won't regret it. I've had mine a little over a week and it's almost like I wasn't vaping before in comparison. Battery lasts me 6-7 hours. After the initial charge, it charges back up in about 2 or 3 hours. The throat hit is great because you can heat up the atomizer which makes all the difference. You can drip without worrying about it getting in the battery compartment. Keep the carts moist and learn how to clean the atomizers and they should hold up fine.
