Thinking absorption.....

Was at the hardware store getting som cotton cord, and while browsing saw the Shammy cloths, I know this is a type of hyde. Anyone have any opinions, thoughts or know if this would even be an option for wicking? I searched the web and couldn't find any comments on using it. I really like the cotton, SS mesh too, just wondering because I know the material has great absorption.

if it is a type of animal hide, it was processed with lots of chemicals.

If I remember correctly, these shammies absorb a lot, but holds onto a lot of that liquid. I don't think that is a quality that is good for wicking.

Yeah, I understand the chemicals are there as in other materials used. Just curious, always on the lookout for better quality gear...lol. Not going to try it, if so would give it the boil a few times over. Just wondering if the Hyde is an issue? I would think the absorption would be good.

This. I think it would soak up all your juice and hold it. You wouldn't actually be able to vape it.

Lmao.... Stick with the SS mesh or Ekowool I will! After thinking, I've come to realize that I don't even want to know what the burning of the "Hyde" material would taste like! Lolol

I would venture to guess that they would not be useful for wicking..... probably hold on to the juice and it would be like trying to suck a bowling ball through a garden hose to get any vape.....
