Thinking of doing away with blu!

Hello, My name is Kris

I have been vaping for about 8-10 months, blu got me started with the disposables, then I purchased a v2cigs kit but wasn't satisfied with the vapor production. I ended up purchasing a Blu premium 100 starter kit. It is all I've been using, but I'm thinking of selling it and purchasing a joye 510-t.

Sometimes blu wont give me the vapor prod I crave and runs out of flavor quick, while the cart runs dry in 1-2 days.

Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated on this topic!

If you are not stuck on a "Cig" style then think about a VV Lava Tube type (many vendors sell under other names) for $70-$80 for a full kit and you can will be able to use cartos, drip, tanks etc. That was the jump I made and I have found there is so much more to vaping than Blu. If stelth is an issue look for mini tube. Good luck with whatever you pick.

I think the 510-T is probably a good next step if you're not ready to try the eGo,but the batt life on the eGo's is hard to beat. If you still want that cig in the hand feel, stick to the 510 & carry extra batts. If you're ready for worry free vaping, go ahead & pull the trigger for the eGo-T. May take you a few days to get use to the different feel, but you'll be glad you made the change. If I'm using the 650 batts, I go through 2 or 3 a day, 900 batts, 1 a day.My 1rst 4 batts(650) are still going strong after close to 2 yrs, I am on my 3rd charger though.

Sorry guys I didn't mention about the feel of the e-cig, I am actually looking towards a cigarette feel, length wise doesn't matter. I read reviews about the ego-t giving off a burnt taste. On the other hand the 510-t just had leak issues, which I can surely deal with. I will also look into the k-go...

I also would prefer the most vapor production in my e-cig, srry I'm still kinda new to other e-cig brands.

I started off with a cig style Mistic kit. Got a Kgo and havent looked back. Thing is about as big as a sharpie so its still easy to put in my pocket. Clouds of vapor with the thing as well. That and the battery unlike a normal ego is 1100mah with a higher voltage.

If I can produce clouds with the k-go, I will definitely consider it, btw would you happen to know of a website that sells k-go's cheap, as I am selling my blu premium 100 kit on craigslist in my area and the funds will go towards this new purchase?

42.09 for the kit.

Dark city vapor sells them for about the same but they seem to be currently out of stock at the moment.

Kgo, Ego, Ego clone, whatever you want to call it, it's essentially the same device. T models, C models, there's not a whole lot to write home about in terms of battery difference, it's just about the atty/juice delivery method. I'd stay away from tanks. Just roll with basic cartos to start with, all the fancier stuff can come later (I don't like tank setups at all, personally).

You can get little mini kits, that just come with the most basic equipment, like one battery, charger, and a few juice delivery devices of your choice. I'd recommend that to you, so you can really decide if you like it or not, without making a serious commitment. Try here. I'm a big fan of Penny Saddler: Lucky Shamrock - Penny 's Store

That's one basic Ego battery; it's one of the biggest model they make (ergo will last the longest, but is also the biggest in size). Two cartos. Very basic juice delivery method, but it works. Charger and a drip tip. That'll get you started just fine. $26.50 before shipping. Maybe buy some extra cartos to go with it. So I'd say an even $30 before shipping.

If you don't dig the green color, this is pretty much the same thing, at pretty much the same price, but you have a choice in colors: Cupid's Revenge Special - Penny 's Store

K-go ORDERED!!! Thanks Guys!!!!

Now on to find some good e-juice...

Well again, I love the juice at Smokeforpennys; Lucky Strike and Pomagranit I love; Pennys Girl is good too. Volcano has some really great flavors; Kiwi and Tobacco Pure are my favs there. Pennys is really cheap, but still good. Volcano's juice, in my opinion is exceptional in flavor and quality, but pretty pricy. But I've yet to find a juice I like more than their Kiwi.

If you're looking for bottom of the barrel, absolute cheapest, Madvapes is pretty dang cheap. I'm not really a fan. I got everything fine and the customer service was fine. I just don't quite like their juices. Some of the ones I tried weren't bad after sitting a while, some sucked forever. But I order juice because I need more juice, and am not very keen on having to let it sit around for a couple weeks.

I hear really good things about Backwoods Brew and MsT's Bakery too. But I haven't had the chance to try either of these venders out yet.

Sweet-Vapes also sells the shorter 650mah Kgo.
I’m a Blu Premium 100 user and purchased the 650mah Kgo from Sweet-Vapes and the 1100mah Kgo from Hosier. Both companies provided excellent service btw and shipped quickly.

Here’s MY take.
Portability: For carrying around in my pocket I find the 1100mah battery just too big. The 650mah is doable but I find that the carto’s get hot and I use a drip tip to provide more isolation and comfort. With the drip tip even the 650mah setup is a tad too bulky for me, but is doable depending on your tolerance and style of clothing.

I kept my Blu Premium 100 and always have it in my pocket. It is unnoticeable in my pocket, great for pulling out for a stealth vape or in the car. I get great use out of both. So if you can afford it, you may want to keep the Blu until you are sure that pocketing a larger device works for you.

Vape: The Kgo is a far superior vaping system. I like to use it with a “stardust” tank. They call it the Vision Ego tank. The downside to the tank is that you can’t pocket it because the forces on it may cause it to break or leak. I recommend buying both the LR cartomizers and the SR cartomizers. With the LR carto’s you get ton’s of vapor, but it may be too warm and too much Throat Hit for you. The SR will still produce a lot of vapor compared to the Blu, but it will be cooler. See what you like.

There are a LOT of options out there, so think hard on what is best for you.

I second that, I started with the Blu and then moved up to the kGo also from darkcityvapor.com, finally I purchased my Provari.

Just out of curiousity, is the Blu Premium better than the regular one?!
