If anyone remembers me, I posted a few days ago about being persuaded by my neighbor to buy an e-cig from the drugstore. I did that, and liked it. It's not bad. I ordered some extra batteries that fit, and some cartos that fit and are much cheaper than the brand specific ones at the drug store.

Let's see... I got the e-cig 4 days ago and had two real cigarettes the first day, 1 the second day, and 0 the third day (even going to a party where half the people were chain smoking, lol).

I've been reading on a couple of monster Go-go threads on the site, and it sounds just about perfect to me. I have two small kids, so I don't want to have to load up atomizers and fiddle with stuff, and have bottles of juice always laying around. I like the way the cartos work on the kr808, so I think I'd like them on the Go-go as well. The longevity of the go-carts sounds awesome (being able to refill many times before they die).

One thing that concerns me is that since I'm just starting, I'm still testing flavors out, and I don't want to test 3 ml of flavor on a single carto if I'm not going to like it. But I guess I'd still have my kr808 to test flavors on.

Anyone have any advice? Does a Go-go sound like a good choice for me? And pros and cons you can tell me about? Companies to order from, sales to wait for, etc?

TIA!

If you would have asked me a few months ago, i would have for sure recommended a Gogo...I bought a couple of kits a while back, when we were struggling with the ego tanks....at the time I loved them. The batteries and cartos last for a good long time...however, your right...the 3 ml capacity on the carto is not a good method for testing new flavors, and dark, thick juices don't seem to play well with the cartos...
I've since moved on to bottom fed mods, myself...I still have the go go's, but they don't see much action...
If you're still in the testing phase for liquids, you might want to consider a riva starter kit from liberty flights....for 30 dollars, you get 2 ego style batteries, 2 atomizers, which are great for testing juices, and some cartridges....I would also get a box or 2 of boge cartomizers, which would make the system work just like your current 808.
The riva has a 510 thread, which makes it very versatile compared to the Gogo.
You won't be able to use your 808 stuff with the riva, keep it as a backup...
Now, I think the echo might have an 808 thread, but I'm not sure...

I'll go find a link for the riva kit and edit it in here....it's the kit I've been suggesting lately...

Good luck to you...

Make sure you hit the 20 percent discount button at the top left of the home page before you go look at the kits....the price will update....sorry forgot to mention that

Edit.... the riva lite bundle should show up at 29.99.
Another edit....ok, goto the liberty flights page, hit the 20 percent discount first, then go down to starter kits, riva 510, lite bundle.

They make it kinda hard to get to...

Thanks for the info. Do you know what the difference is between the regular cartos and the dual coil ones that are on that link you provided?

Also, it seems the two starter kits are $40+, is there a different one that is $30, am I not looking at the right ones?

The Riva Lite bundle is $37.49. At the top of the page is a bar with a discount codes link. That'll get you 20% off which will get you pretty close to $30. The dual coil cartos have two coils wired in series which combined makes for lower resistance. They have become very popular. Personally. I think someone new should try standard cartos first but, it's up to you.
