I currently vape a Vision II Spinner with a Nautilus or Aerotank. The Nautilus aggravates the hell out of me (coil troubles) and I really like the Aerotank, but I seem to get dry hits and muted flavor sometimes. I was wondering of an RBA would be a significant upgrade. And, would my Vision suffice?
Yes a Kayfun is a significant upgrade and yes a Kayfun can be built with the appropriate resistance to work on your spinner , I favor a 1.5ohm build in mine , but it will be awfully top heavy on a spinner and you're going to need a multimeter , ohm meter or regulated mod that checks your resistance to build safely . I hate recommending mods because everybody has different tastes or needs but in this case I'd suggest you look at a Innokin MVP 2 as an upgrade to your Spinner . It has an ohm check built in to it and is variable wattage and voltage plus at 2600mah it has twice the battery capacity of your spinner . You need to have one of the devices I mentioned to safely build a Kayfun but they are without a doubt worth it . Good luck .

The MVP 2 is a good choice for Kayfuns. I have 2 EHPro KFL+ clones and use them daily. The lowest build you can have on an MVP is 1.2 ohm I believe, but I personally prefer builds above 1ohm rather than sub ohm builds on Kayfuns.

Do you use e-juice with nicotine? If so what's the mg? I had to lower my nic level when I first got my Kayfun.

Yep, 24mg 50/50 blend from CC Vapes. Was looking at the MVP 2 yesterday, and for less than what I spent on the Vision 2 starter, I could have gotten an MVP starter[emoji16]

My Nautilus is me nothing but grief today, I'm on a head that is less than 10 hours old and it keeps going from fine to burnt taste to nothing at all sometimes[emoji35]

Yea there are a lot of great deals for the MVP 2 online. I like the idea of being able to charge your phone as well. A local shop owner told me cops come in all the time and pick up the MVP 2 because they drive around all day.

I don't have a Nautilus so I really can't offer much with that.

You said you have the Aerotank? Have you tried the .8 ohm coil on it? I picked up a 5-pack, and gave one to my brother who has an Aerotank. He is absolutely in love with his Aerotank again, and he was just getting into RDAs. There's a big increase in cloud production, im not too sure about flavor though.

A Kayfun will perform excellently on a MVP, if be rather topheavy. As stated before, you won't run a Kayfun lower than 1.2 ohms on an MVP, but the Kayfuns work best between 1.2 - 2.0 ohms anyway.

An as also said earlier, you'll likely need to drop one level of nicotine when using an RBA.

I would suggest an EHPro Kayfun clone to get started! They are very affordable and work very well! Make sure if you wick with cotton you use organic cotton balls! Vape safe!

It would work on a spinner but.. I would highly suggest putting down a bit of money to get a real mod if you want to get the best usage out of a nice RBA like the Kayfun.

Depending on your budget I would say the MvP 2 from 101vape is a hot deal and if you could put down another $20 get the Cloupor DNA 30 from 101vape (or fluidvapes / eciggity). I use the Cloupor with a Kayfun at 1ohm flat and it works wonders!

thanks for all the responses folks... after the day i had with my Nautilus, it may just go in the "just in case" box... gonna get an MVP 2 and a Kayfun clone when funds permit, until then, gonna use PT 2 singles and rewick with cotton in my Aerotank:D

Another thought diceman-the new bvc coils
for the Nautilus make a world of difference. I have been able to really go up on power with them and no burnt hits. And, they are lasting much longer.

Mvp2 is great. Have had one for months and love it. By the way, the MVP will fire down to .8 ohms. Use the new protank sub ohm coils on it all day. It is rated at 3amps so I'm not sure what exactly is going on as far as true volt/watt outputs, but taste is still amazing and that battery lasts all day plus and I vape like crazy on it all day.
