As stated in several other posts I stopped vaping for a year and now that I am back there are so many and improved toys I have a TON of stuff I no longer need. I started vaping at the height of the whole FDA thing and was advised I should stock up... So I did! Now I have 4 Janty Sticks, a ton of atomizers for them and a bunch of batteries for them. I also have a bunch of 510 attys and several batteries (I would just give away the batteries as they have been sitting so long who knows how long they will last) I probably have other stuff I do not need anymore. I am going to buy a Buzz Pro as soon as it is available, but I think I will keep my Tornado stuff for a rainy day. So here are my questions before I head over to the Classifieds. (Please note, I have read the Classifieds rules but still have questions)

1. How do you know how to price all that stuff.
2. Should it be sold all in one thread or should multiple threads be started (ie: A stick thread and a 510 thread etc.)
3. What is a Co-Op?

pricing would depend to me on how old it is. But I would say find out how much everything is going for retail and then charge 50% of that price and you could just throw in a battery to each sale you make to get rid of them if you want. I would post them all in one post just label them.
I dont know what a Co-Op is but I know co op on video games is two people working together on one game so I would assume that it would mean the same in the sale....

1. How do you know how to price all that stuff.
I'm kind of in the same situation myself so I started categorizing things today. Pricing is going to be the hard part.

2. Should it be sold all in one thread or should multiple threads be started (ie: A stick thread and a 510 thread etc.)
I'm just going to categorize by model.

3. What is a Co-Op?
Co-op when we go together to do a bulk order. It's getting a bit harder for the CE2 because of interference.

Thanks for the reply! What is considered "old" it is all basically about a year and half to two years old. I can see the batteries being old, but does it matter how old an atty is if it has never been used? That is going to be another problem for me as I have a bunch of attys that have never been used, but I can not guarantee that there is not one or two in there that got mixed in to the untouched ones that have been used. Out of the 100 or so I have maybe 5 to 10 have been used.

So when you say you are going to categorize by model do you mean in one thread. Or a model for each thread?

The rules say you have to name a price, so do I (1) name a price for the entire lot of 510 attys sold together o r(2) a price for each or (3) maybe a discounted buy them all price as well as an individual price?

I don't like the idea that you can only post once. It would be nice to try again in a few months if there is no interest the first time, maybe someone will be looking for what I have to sell later.

The 50% pricing will be interesting as I've seen 510 attys sold for very different prices! I'll have to go through the classifieds and see what the average price is.

Hoping this will help pay for my new buzz pro!

If the majority of your items are unused, then I would think they would be fine. Equipment doesn't have a short shelf life. Batteries should be judged on the number of times they have been charged/discharged, not on how long they have been sitting on the shelf. On the other hand, the equipment you have is a couple of generations old and new stuff has come out, prices have continued to drop and what you think is a fair price may not be what anyone is willing to pay. It is all subjective. So it will be a trial and error type of experience. List everything you have in one post, separated into categories. Put single prices on each item if you want to sell them individually, or put one price for the whole kit and kaboodle if you want. If noone bites, then update the thread with a revised, lower price.

And just to satisfy my own curiosity, what do you think you would be selling the Janty sticks for?

Curiosity killed the cat. For the Janty Sticks, I have 4 of the sticks, 10 unused batteries and I believe there is a battery in each one that has been used, I will have to look. I have one USB charger and one case. I purchased the kits for $79.95 from Janty. They were all used for less then a month and 2 of the 4 were only used to make sure they work for a few hours. The one that is a full set (charger and case) I was thinking $35 (and of course throw in a few attys) The other 3 which will be just the sticks I was thinking $30. But I do not know if this is even reasonable. I also have the 510 adaptor the sticks!

Not bad prices at all. If they don't move as fast as you want you can always go lower. Going for a Buzz Pro myself :vapor: I have 2 Buzz's now and they're awesome:2cool: Good luck:)
