I would try a single coil cartomizer, not dual coil.

There basically are three major cartomizer brands:

Smoktech: These are produced with either single or dual coils. Their filler material is less dense than Boge, allowing them to be easier to fill and wick juice, but possibly easier to flood.

Boge: These are produced only as single coils. Their filler is more dense than Smoktech, thus making them take longer to absorb e-liquid, possibly slower to wick and leading to dry hits, but less likely to flood.

Ikenvape: A superior cartomizer IMHO. Sold by a single vendor. The manufacturer of these cartos sets limits on the availability of these to Ikenvape, and since they are a very popular cartomizer are frequently not available on a regular basis. I have found that they produce better flavor and last longer than Boge or Smoktech.

What ohms to use when choosing a cartomizer is important for your ultimate satisfaction. Low resistance generally is used for fixed voltage devices for a warmer vape. Standard resistance for a cooler vape. Higher resistance allows for a wider range of voltage for a regulated V-V device.

Thanks for reply Bad. After reading this and finding your blog on here I picked up a few single coils to try out. So far so good. They seem to give my vapes more flavor. I will keep experimenting but I have a feeling I may be getting into some carto tanks next. So I am going to do a little more in depth research and see what happens. Thanks again for answering this newbies question and please keep putting thr blog out there it is helpful.
