So, Lately i've been thinking about an upgrade. If you've seen my last couple posts, you have seen ive started to gain an interest in dripping. I currently have an eleaf istick 30w. I was thinking about possibly upgrading to the 50w but I also want to see what else is out there and competitive (around the same price) Can i get some suggestions on what to look at? and itd help a lot if you have used the recommended mod and istick and can elaborate on some of the comparisons.

Thanks!

dripping is fun. I like my Sigelei but I'm not gonna say its better than other mods cuz I havent tried them. My decision came down to Sigelei 100+, IPV3, IPV4, and IPV Mini 2. Im curious what new chips will come out soon and what new functionalities will be implemented.

after batteries, charger, wire, cotton, ohm meter, attys, mod, etc the cost adds up.

I consider the Sigeleis the best investment in terms of board (yihi) and overall build quality. The ipv units will push the envelope a bit and maybe offer better ergonomics (e.g. the ipv mini) but sacrifice build quality in my opinion. Everything else is a distant 3rd in my opinion--except maybe that HCIGAR 40w box that may or may not be appearing.

I love my sigelei 50w v2. The ipv mini v2 70w is a tremendous value too. Both are pocketable.

The Sigelei 100w + is larger and will require a charger, but it would be a good buy if you need that much overhead.

I've used a friends istick and I mostly drip, I use a tank for driving but 9 times out of 10 I'm on a dripper. My go to mod as of late is either my praxis mech or a dna40.
In all seriousness I've had some pretty satisfying vapes when I was using the dna30s (also 30w mod) wrapped at a 0.4 and 30w it was more than enjoyable with a tugboat v2..
If it were me in your position I would pay attention now, to what's out there but wait and pull the trigger after the Chinese new year and see what some of the new offerings with the sx chips will be. Then compare those.

I say that because I can't tell what you are looking for in a mod to make any suggestion. the dna40 mods take care of 90% of my dripping it is only rarely that I find myself looking for more power in which case I reach for a mechanical

If you want to try an rda, you can just try one; you don't need to also upgrade from 30w to 50w at the same time.

I run my rda's at 10 watts all the time, and plan to set one up for 5 watts @ 32 gauge for a friend using ego batts.

For an easy to build no complicated airflow to worry about dripper for entry level cloud chasing go with a Tobh v2.5 you can get an ehpro clone from eciggity for 18.99 and maybe pick up a Chuff top for it for around 4 or 5 bucks. I still run my v2 Tobh it is one my favorite atties. I have probably 30 different atomizers but I run my Tobh with 22gauge dual crown coils @ .15 ohms and rocking @ about 110 watts on my Sigelei 150 it's my go to rig. Have magma, zenith V2, zenithV3, stillare in both 22 and 28.5mm, doge competition, mutation x, dark horse, atomic, 454, and the list goes on but love my Tobh's.

The Chuff top is an important development in rda's;
instead of taking off the drip tip, you take off from just below the drip tip, and can look down at your wick without risking a leak.
