hi all , i used to vape but have not in a long while though i am thinking of doing it again. i think the reason i stopped is: well i have a joy e 5 i think it is, and it is good. i had not had battery problems or liquid problems , but basically with a regular smoke i just light it and don't have to pull to hard and i get a good lung hit and lung expansion, and it is this way all through the smoke. with the joy e , sometimes i would get a good solid hit but often it seemed like i had to hold the button and pull for a long time to get a hit that was comparable to a regular smoke. and esmoke in a larger hit is a bit different than regular smoke as it sometimes is not as smooth. also it was inconsistant , the drag was different quite a bit , sometimes less , sometimes more. with a regular smoke ; same all the way through. and so it seemed like i was struggling with it a lot and felt like more of a hassle after a while. i guess i am wondering if there is any regular setups out there now that have the qualities as mentioned above, like not having to pull long to get a good lung hit and consistancy. thanks

If you purchase a ProVari, or, if money is a little tight, a LavaTube, and get yourself a good tank, I think you'll find consistancy in your vaping production.

The ProVari ($159, plus you need batteries and a charger) have a booster which pushes the battery so that it provides the exact same voltage from the first fire until the last fire before the battery goes dead. (I believe the LavaTube, or Knight Rider, as it's also known, has the same circuitry, but not sure)

I believe you can find the LavaTube for $100 in a kit which includes charger and batteries, or get it for about $70 device only.

You WILL notice a difference between either of those, and your previous device.

Also go to Halo's site and pick up some good juice. I happen to like Prime, or Tribeca.

Good luck!

The way you inhale a PV will always be different than a cigarette.

Any good mod with a bottom feeder or carto tank will give you good performance. The VV mods give you more control, but you need to remember that LR atties and cartos will not work on VV mods very well. You need 3.0 Ohms or higher, or a dual-coil carto for VV.

thanks for quick replies. did'nt expect so fast. see i went and had a smoke and came back and all these replies. anyway i'll have to look these over a bit and research i guess. but as some of you have said. it seems like no matter what, the drag will be different with the esmoke. for me it would be perfect if there was one out there that would mimic a regular smoke exactly. well close.

For me, the ego with low resistance cartomizers was perfect.

I don't know if it will mimic the smoking experience for you or not. You may need a higher voltage device. It's hard to say to another person without knowing them.

You can pick up an ego from Liberty Flights for $30. Get some low resistance cartomizers and a good juice from a juice vendor and give it a try. If you don't like it you aren't out much. If you do like it, your 510 cartomizers and accessories will work with most mods.

Not true with the variable wattage Darwin. I use dual coil (1.5) cartomizers on it regularly (4.5 - 4.7 volts) with no problems what so ever.

If you want truely good, warm, full throat hit, then get a good 5 volt or variable volt/wattage model. That is a significant upgrade from your normal 3.7 volt models. You won't have to pull hard to get what you are looking for. Here are the two I would suggest you check out:

5 volt GLV2: Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor (lifetime warranty)

Variable wattage Darwin: Nhaler (full 2 year warranty)
