Jeff, Are you drawing on the atty or cartos when you squonk? Do that without firing and stop when you hear the gurgle.
I do not find I have to thin my 100% VG with cartos or atty's.
Check the tube in the bottle also. Sometimes they are long enough to reach the bottom and create a suction to the bottle. If it does that you can clip a little off and make it shorter.
Jeff, check for suction like Karen said, but also check that the o ring is seated well in the bottle cap. VG shouldn't need to be thinned to use your REO. It is a feeding issue.
Ah! Many thanks. I'm a squonking newbie. I've been waiting to see juice in the catch cup and then drawing it up into the atty. Drawing on it while I squonk does indeed require less pressure on the bottle. So, I just need to practice blind squonking, eh? Well, if I must - I must!
Press slightly on THat bottle put your lips on your atty give a quick suck you will hear it enter then vape away sometimes waiting for the catchcup can flood it pretty bad
don't think you need to thin either, you can use demi water too tho. thinning isn't doing any good to taste and vapor of your liquid. and when it's too thin it can start autofeeding, and that is really messy.
anyway, another possiblity might be a brand new bottle, they need more pressure and you feel a tat sore finger, but a well used bottle has a much nicer squonk.
