Thinning VG?

Hi, I have been vaping for about 3 years now. When I started I purchased filled cartridges. I did very well on them but decided to try different juices. I tend to go for sweet tobacco. I'll find a juice I love but after awhile I get tired of it. I'm thinking I need to try just plain VG with a little sweetner in it. I have some great sweetner from DIY but I still need something to dilute the 36mg VG down to around 24mg. I have used distilled water but it seems to give me a sour taste...anyone else have this problem. Would love to hear what everyone uses to dilute...Thanks!

By "dilute" do you mean cutting nicotine down or thinning the VG down?

Have you tried to dilute using vodka a few drops

I occasionally add a little unflavored 0mg PG. Depending on the size of the tank you just need a few drops.

Both actually. I have VG I would like to thin out and I ordered some VG 36mg that I would like to dilute.

I haven"t tried vodka. Do you get any harsh after taste with it?

I can't use PG, it makes my mouth sore.

Well, I can see why you're having issues with 33% water...

28% PG and 5% PGA/vodka would seem a better approach to me.

Well use a mixing calc and dilute the 36mg Vg nic with pain VG while adding the percentage sweetener you want, and then then add dw to make an 80%vg/20% sweetener/dw unflavored but sweetened juice. At least thats what I would do.

I havent ever had distilled water make my vg sour. Maybe get a new bottle of distilled water.

I always dilute nic down with the base it's in, just to avoid any confusion on the work surface but VG is kinda messy to work with. Try the calc in the stickies, very helpful to me for such things to verify my math.
