This is my third time tryinh to swith to vaping. Always end up quitting because of the whole mess of having cartomizers atomizers etc. I preffer ecigs that look like ecigs. Im hoping since i last started there might be something in this style more powerful than a halo g6. My ladt setup was an egotwist but i feel it s wsy too big. Any suggestions?

The only small form factor I've seen work for some for the long haul is the eRoll. It has a tank (.6mls) instead of a carto. Other than that one, most operate and perform about the same.

most agree that there is one best cigalike. I cant remember the name, maybe the eroll? someone confim/deny
I can highly recommend Green Smoke Kits if you're looking for a cigalike.
They're high quality, great flavors and you may have a local source for replacement cartos if you get in a pinch.

The eRoll is a very good device, other than very limited battery life and such a tiny tank -- but they've just come out with a new model, and a new PCC (portable charging case) to go with it, which will charge and store 3 eRolls, and also store 3 extra tanks -- a much-needed innovation!
I actually quit smoking using an eRoll, the older ones that only charged/stored one, with no storage for extra tanks. It was the constant charging-shuffle and the very tiny tanks that finally made me go looking for something with more capacity; my first non-cigalike was the iTaste vv3 with a Kanger T3S on top, and that made such a huge difference, I put the eRolls in a drawer and left them there. Until I had that month of smoking and trying to get back into vaping; one of the problems I faced was that after 4 days of not vaping, vapor no longer tasted good to me, so the eRoll was great to get back into vaping, since it mutes flavors considerably compared to a real tank.
But what I discovered was the eRoll's real flaw, to me, was the lack of variability; the vv3 (and the several other variable mods I've bought since then) have spoiled me completely for non-variable devices; I even got a Kick when I got a mechanical mod, so I'd still have some variability, and the ability to set a given wattage and have the vape stay the same, rather than declining as the battery charge declines.

Same thing for me. You may want to try having a higher nicotine liquid for awhile. Hopefully the 3rd time is a charm works for you.
Another thought, I've heard story after story of those who hate vaping... Until they try a nicer tank.... Even an EVOD tank or mini protank, etc if small"er" is your thing... I had a buddy at work who always used the cigalikes for the same reason... He said he just couldn't stand the thought of walking around with something bigger... He wanted something that looked like a cigarette... But eventually, after talking to him enough I finally got him to get a twist with an EVOD. Low and behold he loved it and threw away all the cigalikes. He's on the same kinda kick now... He loves how my bigger tanks like the Kayfun taste and work, and loves the idea of not blowing $2 on a coil every week... But at the same time, he has that same notion about the size and not wanting anything bigger than his stick... One day he'll make the switch and love it all over again.
The insistence on a cig sized vape is going to handicap you quite a lot. When I first started I was trying to find that and ended up with ego rigs. They didn't cut it at all. Just not enough power or juice capacity.

You should get a mechanical mod, An a Igo W3 and vape 24mg Nic juice on that.... Haha. Itll knock your head off.

Back 5 or 6 years ago ALL that was available commercially was small, underpowered cigalikes, and a huge number of us failed to quit smoking entirely with them...myself included. Many of us are now back to vaping and no longer smoking due to the advances in commercial equipment, but I myself consider the cigalikes to be 'introduction equipment' only, as I feel current battery technology does not support power for so small a devise to be practical and powerful enough to replace cigarettes...that would be a huge advance!
A basic evod battery and tank can be picked up on ebay for not much more than a pack of cigarettes cost here...maybe you could keep one as a backup in case the product you decide to try doesn't sustain you as you work toward leaving the ciggies behind.

I love the eRoll. Yeah, switching tanks can be a pain but they are so cheap it's easy to just keep 10 pre-filled at all times.
Emili has a similar system. Slightly stronger batteries for ecig and pcc. Slick case. Not automatic though (has button). Also, not many seem to use it (or it's new to scene?)
Can wait for new eRoll PCC... Much needed!

I wasn't a heavy smoker at all, for the last decade or so, but I was surely a diehard one -- NOTHING was going to come between me and my cigarettes! But the hardest thing for me was that I smoked Slims for 30+ yrs, so even "cigalikes" felt too fat to me. I finally got some "big honkin mods" too, but I addressed the "Slims" issue by getting some very, very slender pyrex driptips -- they're awesome, even if you do have to swab 'em out more often than the wide-bore kind. The lip-feel is very close to what I was used to, with the Slims.

They look nice, although they're not automatic. But, I do know that anything that says "Joyetech" on it is going to be fairly costly. From the size of it, as apparent in the pic, the ARO Winder 900mAh is roughly that slender, and the Mini Protank II is exactly the same width -- you could probably buy two complete sets of those two items for less than you could buy one Joyetech 510cc. And the Mini Protank II is a VERY good-vaping tank, for being that small.
I have one of those ARO Winder 900mAh batteries, and though I was a bit concerned at first about the low-ish mAh rating, it actually compares very favorably in charge-time to other batteries of that size. I like the 900 mAh version better than the other Winder versions, because it doesn't have that "collar" where the button is -- there is no collar, the button is right on the body of the battery, like the 510cc.

Most of us have been in your shoes. I went with a simple vv 1100mah winder and evod to get started. My wife went with a cigalike to get started. She was very hesitant to get something bigger than a cigalike. She made it work for a couple months but the tradeoffs made it hard on her (constant charging and refilling). The vapor production wasn't bad though. She quickly stepped up to a simple 650 mah spinner and evod and that was the game changer. Now she uses itaste 3.0s and protank 3 minis exclusively and may never change that.
I rec'ed the eroll because it's about the best cigalike out there that gives you the convenience of a tank and still small form factor but lack of variable voltage and short battery life are still going to cause more fiddling than you might think. They are good devices from everything I've seen but they still fall a good bit short of just the next step up. Unfortunately to take the step you have to trade size. No two ways around it.
If you get the eroll or similar and feel that you would prefer longer battery life with variable voltage then Vision has a 400mah spinner battery (smallest vv stick on the market as far as I know) and a protank 3 mini would fit very nicely on it (same diameter as the battery). This would be about the same size as a small cigar. 400mah would give you 3-4 hours of use unless you chain vape and you can adjust your vape as you see fit with the variable voltage.
Variable voltage seemed complicated to me when I first bought mine but after about 30 minutes it was stupid simple. It's just like a volume button on a stereo. If I wanted more vapor I just turned the little dial up a bit and vice versa. Very simple but ability to tune in my preferred vape made it quite easy to never smoke again.
You can get (2) 400mah batteries, (2) protank3 minis, and 2 packs of replacement coils for less than $80. I'm not trying to steer you away from cigalikes. If they work for you then I couldn't be happier. If they don't then my rec above would be the next closest thing in form that would really negate some of the shortcomings.
I have 2 ego-t batteries and 2 mini protank 2s sitting around, all you would need is coils and a charger.

I managed to quit smoking with a Blu setup believe it or not. Made it about a month before I finally got tired of blowing through 2 or 3 of those little cartridges. And changing them in the car while on the highway was a nightmare waiting to happen.
I managed to compromise by getting a short but thick 808d battery and bigger cartos.. it was still low profile, could hide it in my hand. But the battery lasted a lot longer and hit/vapor was a million times better.
After I got over the whole low profile thing.. A whole new world of mods and tanks opened up to me.

I don't think battery life is really a reason to avoid eRoll... The PCC is 1100 mah so I easily go a whole work day (8-5) without a problem (rotating two eRoll ecigs in the charging case). The biggest issue is the tanks, and having to carry a lot of pre-filled spares.
I've fallen into a routine with it, so no biggie, but it is one of the bigger downsides to a very small, very light, very cigarette-like experience.
