Man sending all these monies to TT, JJ and Sashwa is wearing my azz out....... working is really hard work.
Well Wharf Rat, I'm sure glad you keep on working and keep on paying into my Sociable Securities!
And yeah, your turn will come one day ... maybe ... depending on what the goobermint does. Heck, they might even raise the age to start collecting Sociable Securities to 95 before you can start collecting! A guy never knows what those rascals in Washington will come up with next.
I'm still cleaning up my
shop. That chore got interrupted yesterday because I had an appointment with my breathing doctor and I'm proud to report that I'm still breathing! That was real good news.
But today its back to working in my
shop. I like to dedicate two days each year for going back to my hard labor days. And two days is plenty for doing that. Some people get carried away with this working stuff. But I'm not one of them ...
As soon as it gets a little warmer I'm thinking about opening my Lemonade and Psychiatric Consulting Stand up again out there on the paved road. All the workaholics used to like to stop by there ... especially since I always added a little bit of my country likker to the lemonade if you know what I mean.
That Green Beret or Girl Scout - whatever you call them ... the one that beat me up and took my last Lemonade and Psychiatric Stand off of me graduates from high school this year and if she's anything like a lot of the other kids around here she'll be moving on to the State Prison or someplace. Maybe get married. Anyhow, she won't be around to interfere with my business endeavors.
I always get a kick out of those high school graduates who get them a nice job up at the Hardware Store. You walk in there and ask for a ball peen hammer and they say ... "Like, whatzthat?" And I explain it to them and they say "Like, I don't know if we have one of those." I think those are mostly the kids who had their own parking space at the school when they were in Third Grade.
Speaking of school days ... it always warms my heart to see a local daddy walking their kid to school and holding their hand.
I think in most cases their both in the same grade ...
Well, I guess I'd better get busy and make hay while the sun's shining. Humm, I always wondered what
THAT expression means ...
