My already wrecked back is screaming at this 15" of snow we got last night and todayGot the essentials shoveled and cleared the drive with the snow blower. Damn that lieing groundhog LOL!

Tomorrow should be a very nice day, and I plan on taking my middle dd driving. (I'll take a shot and a beer after please!) No but seriously, she is doing a great job so far! My left hand is never far from that emergency brake though!!!

5Card, I sure hope your throat is feeling better. I sure wish you had listened to me and stayed away from those American Idol try-outs. I mean, you're already our American Idol and you didn't have to get on stage and sing those screaming heavy metal songs to show us who you are! We all loved you anyhow!!! And Bov!!! 15 inches of snow ... are you and Fran ever going to quit getting all that stuff? Great guns! Haven't they told you guys that its spring time? We have trees budding, flowers growing, sunny skies and warm weather.
We're thinking about going to the river and doing some fishing tomorrow. They are calling for a chance of showers though, so we're going to have to see how much the weather cooperates. Its that time of year to start going out and going fishing.
I wish all of you could come down here and go with us!

Mil and I kinda didn't see eye to eye on how much shoveling needed to be done. After I cleared the driveway, the sidewalk (law says we have to) and the back stoop where we go in and out of the house, I was done. She didn't agree, it was kinda ugly, and well...let's just say that she is now sulking like a 3 year old She doesn't take "no" very well, but she's learning!
The sun came out late afternoon here and it's still 40degrees. Highs in the 50s for the next several days. So far my back is not too bad today.

Bov you just let MIL sulk, they do get over it, and your back doesn't need the extra strain. Besides, it'll melt soon enough. We have to clear our sidewalks too, or face a fine.

Especially if your using waterdogs for bait. I hated sticking that hook into them little lizards.
Me and Bovinia have one thing in common. "Buckets" She's getting snow in bucketloads and I can't carry a tune in one. If I could stop vaping it would get better but without thinking I catch myself vaping away.

So yesterday as I'm leaving the gas station I pause too buckle up...I notice if I don't jump too it I'll be there a while...I don't notice the trooper....I punch it and in one fell swoop merge with traffic and buckle up all at the same time...5 miles down the road I get pulled...I think that bass turd even checked how many days I was absent in kindergarten....All he could get me on was the three feet I'd traveled before buckling that belt...$161.......Guilty as charged....

Wow El Dee ... $161.00 ... that's as much as my pick up truck is worth! That's a shame! Sorry buddy ... and not one penny of it goes into my Sociable Securities! Bummer.
74 delightful degrees here today. Just thought I'd throw that in for the benefit of the snow shovelers. LOL, yeah, we're going to the river and go fishing and you guys really ought to come too. I'll even bait your hooks for you. We're just going to go wade out and sit on a sand bar and fish for a little while. Might even take a couple of my feral grandchildren with us.
My stoopid heart doctor, the one I taught to speak English, would probably turn his nose up at me eating deep fried catfish but until he tries my wife's family catfish recipe he's never going to know how good that stuff is. He can just eat his garlic and liver and all that horrible stuff.
Sure hope all of you have a fine Saturday too.
