Have you cleared your cache and history? That helps a lot.Hi Tracy! I still have a slow wifi connection. I am just wondering if I should get a router. The company states I don't have to but?
Well I was up before noon so I'll still say g'morning!
First easter egg hunt of the day accomplished, but it cost me a skinned palm and a bruised hip. I hate these super narrow risers and treds on this old cape cod houses!! Missed a step going down to the basement, crashed and burned on the concrete floor. All for a missing dog leash...that we have a gazillion of
I need to learn to say no to anything before coffee. Flip flops and steep stairways don't go together.
The Addidas flip flops I own have the wide strap to. I'm not into the toe thong types. I've been wearing Vans and Airwalks for 20 years. They aren't the most supportive shoes but they are damn comfortable.Vans had a really nice looking pair of flips....The strap however was the wide style...The Havannas look like the WalMart cheepies but my older pairs are going into their third summer...My boots are Rockies but I only wear them if they're really needed...My current Vans have a few miles on them and showing it...10 years or so back I noticed a guy wearing Vans in a motorcycle magazine...Now everywhere you go you see them...I hate it when the trend comes too you...They don't exactly give the best support but I love them anyway....
All my orders are placed minus the RTS....Soon grasshopper soon....
Ahh yes. The classics don't have any support at all. I wear the athletic style low cut type (padded tongue, etc). They have a lot more support and are more like regular sneakers (arch support and what not). I currently wear these. They're quite a few years old.mod sometimes I get a cramp in the middle inside bottom of my foot...This was attributed to the non supportive Vans...When I know I'll be on concrete I switch to older style Nikes...They are very supportive with a high arch that stretches that muscle out = no more cramps....All my Vans are core classics...Waffle bottom and no padded tongue...
I was surprised to read in a doctor’s column this morning that the statin drugs I'm taking may cause memory loss. This old age is difficult.
It's nice to know that it's not my fault that I can't remember things anymore. But it is getting a little scary.
The other day, I put on deodorant BEFORE I took a shower.
Don't ask me for directions to Tyler or Austin. I get them mixed up.
My memory is not a total loss. There are things that I do remember well.
I've never missed a meal.
I can get to Blue Bell Ice Cream without looking at a map.
Anything that happened in the late 1940's, 50s and ’60s, I can recall with no problem.
I know the words to most of the songs that were hits then, but none that made it after that.
This brings up the question — if I have memory loss, why wouldn't I forget some of those things?
I've made a short list of my memory status, just in case we run into each other.
If we met between 1950 and 1975, I'll remember you and be able to tell any funny thing that ever happened.
If I met you between 1975 and 2013, I probably won't remember you, but my wife will, and she will tell me how I know you.
I'm telling you this because I recently read in a doctor’s column that the statin drugs I'm taking can cause memory loss. This old age is difficult.
TT
Your so welcome! At least if he cannot get off the statins at least I believe that the CoEnzyme Q-10 will prevent muscle damage that is known to occur with statin use. Other countries will recommend using Q-10 for folks using statins. The pharmaceutical industry has allot of people wrapped around their fingers....I mean pocketbooks!Sdh, I personally cannot thank you enough for telling me about statins. I see their effects on my Dad, and hopefully can get him to at least speak to his doc about trying to get off of them. My Mom takes only high blood pressure meds at present, but you can bet I will be on the lookout for her as well. <3
