Sorry you had a bad experience 5'er. I had a tear in my knee scoped 3 years ago and it turned out great. Now I can do full squats and only once in a long while I'll get a light dull ache. He's local but also is the Wash Huskys Orthopedic surgeon.

Wharf mine turned out great. I don't even know it happened any more and can do anything. I do have my knee go out if it's in the wrong possition but that only happened once in 10 yrs. but the pain right after surgery was insane. I guess when they do things inside your body pain is to be expected. He was a great surgeon for sure but I would rather walk over hot coals.

No boomers expected here, but they're talking anywhere in the range of 1 - 3" of rain.

With any luck I may have finally sealed the new windows at camp. Yesterday I put the trim around them, used several tubes of Silicone II caulk under and at the edges of the boards, screwed the boards in tightly so I was seeing the silicone squeezing out at the edges (which should be a good seal). Finished just before 9 last night, it's a rapid dry (nominal 3 hour rain ready) silicone, it didn't start misting until after 6 this morning. I'll see this afternoon -- a lot of rain is a good test :) (I still have the last layer of rain defense, the window cap flashing, that goes over the top of the upper trim board, to put up.)

New kayak came in, still in the box, put it in the car after I got home. Putting in a stanchion (4x4 post in a 50# concrete deck post block) to tie the canoe and kayak off on. Tomorrow should be nice again, a chance to try it out.

Sounds good Mark!!! Hope you stay nice and dry.

1-3 inches of rain forecasted here as well today and tonight. Middle dd heading to the beach after school today (her last day of her Junior year!) with her BF and his Mom. I think the most severe weather (poss. tornado watches) are now in the Philly area, where last night they were saying south Jersey (where she will be). So that's good news for her trip.
Winds/possible hail for here later as well.

This weather is nuts! I haven't been in the pool yet this season.

Yes this weather is NUTTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Forecast for this evening....high winds/rain/hail/possible tornado....SMDH

Awaken by the constant beep of an incoming text...Twas 3:30 before I got the chance to lay down...Sis and BIL are at the beach...Water line trickle leak in master bath....It's an early 90s mobile home with presswood/glued sawdust floors...Yeah the floor has bubbled up....Just when you think it can't possibly get worse....Hear me screaming SOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thinking about it I believe the floors are OSB board....Still I'm fekked...That will be an epic repair...Pass me the pipe I need a break from this action....

Things here have been a blur...Topped by the fact it's a sweatbox out there...Last night I was feeling my 53 years...My legs were feeling rather worn out...36 house payments left...Things will change drastically when that sucker is mine...The Dbox tanks have been here a few days and I've not even had the time to fill one....Mt. Dew remains in the Pro Tank...It's not a killer vape but not bad either....

News came in that a former school mate is no longer with us...RIP Kendell....Also my long time bro T-Roy has found a new love...He sounds rather happy on the phone...Tis good!!!! The hairdresser is still giving me hell...Hey I try and be nice but she is starting to test my patience....53....single....married for only 3 of those years...more GFs over the years than one can count.....There is a clue in there somewhere...

Till the next time....I hope everyone is doing well and weathers these storms OK...I'll catch a breath somehow and keep on trucking....Hammer Down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DW reported a bit of leak around the stovepipe in the great room at home. Blecch. It's been fine for years, not looking forward to messing with it. That's something I'd hire out, once I do a first look.

Just keep a fire going in it Mark.

LD I had to go outside in my robe at 3:30AM to an alarm I heard too. It was JD barking at something. Probably a ..... There was one on the porch yesterday in broad daylight getting at the cats food. He ran up a tree so I got the hose a chased him around the tree top until he jumped on the neighbors house. Then the crows started dive bombing runs on him. I watched him go to the back of the house then when I looked he had the front of his body sticking in the neighbors upstairs window. With all the trees for escape he finally climbed down a ladder the neighbor had against his house. I bet he thinks twice about making a daylight munchies run around here again.
