I love being in my cave away from everybody. JD got to come back in for the 4th beings it's loud with all the booms and bangs. Not too bad in the cave because of all the sound proofing and insulation I put in.

Beautiful Baldwinsville (CNY)
Busy weekend, but fun.

We're getting passing showers and storms, continuing through the weekend, but manageable.

Caught fireworks in Skaneateles Wed night, back there yesterday for a get together at BIL's lake house.

Progress on the plumbing, sawzall made short work of the galvanized and copper gludge, I'm switching to all pex and sharkbite starting from where my new incoming water supply work had ended. I'm only doing crimps at a couple of trivially easy to access points.

Getting out on the kayaks, enjoying paddling along the lake edge, with any luck our second sit on top will be in today.

New m1a1s, lanyards, disposable (for on the kayak) ego vv battery came in. BP is the workhorse PV, but if there's a decent chance of something going bye bye, not just getting pounded on (which the BP is super at handling), far better it be an ego :)

I remember when I first started working for Social Services and had to make home calls once a week. At the time I had a car with no a/c, I was always miserable when I got home in the summer. My next car I paid extra for a/c and my Wednesdays were much better. :D

I think it's what you get use to. I remember thinking dish washers were silly because it's not that hard to wash them. I then rented a place that had one and I realized that my kitchen always looked much cleaner because I could hide the dirty dishes in it. I consider it a necessity now.

Thank you for sharing Rosco's vid, Wharf :)

We don't have a dish washer here either, nor an ice maker in the freezer. I never considered myself spoiled before...I thought having all those things were necessities!

I got vape mail today, and I'm test driving my spiffy new Puri tank. (Thank you John!) First impression is this sucker is huge! My favorite ceramic drip tip won't fit, but that's ok since my 2nd favorite tip fits it. Did I mention that this tank is huge? Got her filled, primed, and puffing on my purple BP, and then I decided I wanted it on my pink Divine Bovine. Swapped it over and no contact with the center post...I can fix that later by raising the atty pin. Oh yeah, and it's huge! I'm not honking on it hard yet, I want to let the wicks get good and saturated, so I turned the voltage down to about 4.3 from my usual 4.6 for my Caramel Coconut Cookie juice. So far the flavor is close to what I'm used to, and I'm surprised at the amount of vapor given the reduced voltage. The vape is cooler, but I hope to raise the voltage a bit as the atty breaks in. I ordered some Fusions and 5 Puri / Evod replacement heads from Iken, and they came in the mail today too, so if I toast the atty that 5card sent I have 5 more to fry LOL! And it's huge!

Also got a letter from AH...he's not huge btw. As I expected, he's fine with a divorce, but he said he would contest it if I didn't "give him custody" of Chase LMAO! He'll make trouble for me if I try to take our dog out of this home and away from him  He also said he's looking forward to meeting New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, said maybe they can get together and watch the games
