Things are starting to look decidedly deck-like at camp :)

Man it's been a whirlwind around here...

Pics for the Craigslist depended on my finding my camera's charger....3 days later....Right where I left it....

The up for sale Ranger is a 96 4X4 with 78k original and low miles...Ice cold a/c!!! Wish me luck!!!!!!!!

Back on the Strawberry Twist I devoloped back when a couple of us were over on the juice forum....It's cocoNutty!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Usually I sleep like a rock...Unless I got things on my mind.....like buying and selling trucks and stuff...Most days I sleep from 3 until 11 am or so...I've always slept with a dog present also...They provide excellent hearing and I provide excellent marksmanship....I'm needing to head too the DMV tomorrow so I may set the cell alarm for 10ish....maybe NOT!!!!!!!!!

Good morning everybody!

Wow, I was up at 5 a.m.!! Must be a throw-back to my days of having to work for a living. Ugh, I hope this doesn't happen very often!

Hey, today is National Senior Citizens Day! Happy National Senior Citizens Day 5Card and all you other old timers out there!

Markfm, keep those pics coming! My friend, you are going to end up with a place on a lake that you are really proud of considering all the time and effort you are putting into it. I think sometimes that looking back and saying to yourself "I built that!" is some of the best satisfaction a guy can have.

Even El Dee and 5Card fixing things up and in some cases selling the things they've made good again have fun every day. It might not always seem like it, but it really is fun.

For me .... I'm enjoying National Senior Citizens Day and I'm not going to fix anything. At my age an old dog, an old woman and a bowl full of macaroni and cheese are all the excitement I need.

Oh, and some good juice to vape!

Good morning everyone!

Yesterday consisted of nails for dd, last night was Senior Portraits for said dd, and in between was a migraine trying to take over. Thankfully the aura while driving preceded it and I caught it in time so that just some meds and a short rest in a quiet room held it at bay.

Today I will try to finish up school shopping. In fact I am staying out there until it's done. That's the goal for today!

Good luck on the sell Dee! That's about my normal sleeping hours too, but no better luck last night. Still awake at 4:30am, fitful sleep until I got tired of trying around 9am. Next step is to cut out that one cup of coffee I have around 6 or 7 in the evening and see if that helps. My Dr and I decided to cut my antidepressant dose in half and I'm betting that this is just my body detoxing and getting adjusted to the lower dose. This too shall pass :)

5'er, I take that power nap in the late afternoons, usually around 3 or 4pm. It's probably not helping my sleep situation right now, but it sure feels good!

Happy Senior Citizens Day!! My age says I don't qualify yet, but my body says I do today LOL

Mission accomplished for today!!!! In 2 hours I was done, except for the fact that I might be returning a few things to one store and shopping some more at another. Isn't that always the way? Bought too much at the first store thinking it was a good deal, then at the second store I liked their stuff a whole lot better!

Well, technically it is all done....in my mind anyway! She still needs winter things (but that'll come later) and some jammies.

For every day I wear those Redhead shirts (there's just something about Redheads....) that Bass Pro Shop sells. They have two big pockets in the front and wear real well. I decided I needed a couple new ones. So I go on-line to Bass Pro Shop, there's my shirts in the colors and size I want, order them and pay through PP and I'm done.

In a few days they'll come in the mail.

Easy breezy! I didn't have to drive to Bass Pro Shop in Shreveport, fight traffic, spend four hours or more doing all that and you know I'd have gone to the casino's in Shreveport and lost a bunch of money.

Now I can snuggle down in my recliner with my dog and take a nice nap.

I love to shop!

And I don't wear jammies.

I don't think I even own any .....

I have to go to tent and awning to get my shirts TT. After they get warn out we use them for car covers.

I got all the woodwork done on my new PV today. Now the finish work and electronics and I'm done. I also finally got a small box put together for this lady I know. She needed one to lock her trinkets in. Now I got to wait for the glue to dry. Tomorrow I will finish it then everything gets stained and sealed. After that a toybox for my grandson.

I left work early today, since I wasn't able to take a vacation day yesterday. A bit of digging, then the form, some drainage gravel, and 1200 # of concrete. DW was in helper mode, we set the mixer up right next to the form, and we have a stair landing curing, complete with wifie's added art :)

It would have taken a lot more concrete, but a good part of it is built over the existing walkway. No worries about how well the new Crete will bond to the old, since the new layer is a full 3-1/2" thick over the old stuff. The extensions to the sides of the walkway are > 7" thick, since I wanted the depth to match the old work.
