Because I hate my hair long...hate taking care of it, hate the feel and weight of it, hate constantly cleaning it up off the floors and bathtub drain! Told hubs that if he ever bothered to look at me, then he might get to have a say in what I do with it.

Bov, it looks cute. I've worn short hair since I was 12. I have way too much hair to wear it long. When I did have it long, it was in the middle of my back and I always had headaches because it was so heavy. The few times I've tried to grow it out, everyone said I looked better with short hair. Wash and wear for me is a win as I hate messing with my hair.

Sash, mine is baby fine and very curly, which means it breaks off very easily. I've never met a man who didn't have the "long flowing hair" fetish, but this is my time in life to do what's good for me

I don't know if it's proper or might get filtered, but hubby said "I look like a ....." I won't repeat what I said lol.
