I started with the i16s and really liked them.
Still do. Maybe love them? For what they are and where I've been on this journey, yes,
maybe love them
I tried the i30 but it wasn't quite the same...a little airier, flavor was good enough, couldn't get past the DT. I do like the number of wicks—never a dry hit.
I tried the original ProTank...not for me. Waaaaaaay too airy of a draw, very cool
vape and the flavors of my liquids were off. Completely off. And I had trouble with
burning juice—couldn't get it past 4v for nothin' without it burning. And, just so you know, I use 70p/30v and, sometimes a 60p/40v blend, no water if that matters.
All that was with the original coil. So I rewicked it using cotton...meh. Never could vape past that cotton taste so many people say that they can.
I cannot say that I am surprised; my tastebuds are rarely like other peoples'
So I recoiled and rewicked it using silica (I wanted to like this thing, can you tell??)
Double meh.
I never bothered with trying the other heads that fit the ProTank. It just wasn't my thing. Obviously.
So, back to the i16s for me...and that's what I use today when I need a portable, a
tank, a clearo...they are still my favorite with the 30s in second place.
All of those, though, fall behind my little RDAs I've been using and building myself, apples and oranges. Those are close to dripping but with the drawbacks that dripping inherently means.
I do know people who have found their happy place with the i30s, though
And, just so you know, the coils for the 16 and 30 are interchangeable and can be cleaned and dry-burned a couple of times for reuse if one is careful.
My
Y'all have a great evening and see you soon!
