I started with the i16s and really liked them.
Still do. Maybe love them? For what they are and where I've been on this journey, yes, maybe love them

I tried the i30 but it wasn't quite the same...a little airier, flavor was good enough, couldn't get past the DT. I do like the number of wicks—never a dry hit.

I tried the original ProTank...not for me. Waaaaaaay too airy of a draw, very cool vape and the flavors of my liquids were off. Completely off. And I had trouble with burning juice—couldn't get it past 4v for nothin' without it burning. And, just so you know, I use 70p/30v and, sometimes a 60p/40v blend, no water if that matters.

All that was with the original coil. So I rewicked it using cotton...meh. Never could vape past that cotton taste so many people say that they can.
I cannot say that I am surprised; my tastebuds are rarely like other peoples' :)

So I recoiled and rewicked it using silica (I wanted to like this thing, can you tell??)

Double meh.

I never bothered with trying the other heads that fit the ProTank. It just wasn't my thing. Obviously.

So, back to the i16s for me...and that's what I use today when I need a portable, a tank, a clearo...they are still my favorite with the 30s in second place.

All of those, though, fall behind my little RDAs I've been using and building myself, apples and oranges. Those are close to dripping but with the drawbacks that dripping inherently means.

I do know people who have found their happy place with the i30s, though :)

And, just so you know, the coils for the 16 and 30 are interchangeable and can be cleaned and dry-burned a couple of times for reuse if one is careful.

My :2c:

Y'all have a great evening and see you soon!

Congratz Fran! I've never made it past 10 LOL! And thank you, I'll let you know how I like the I30 when I get it. What ohm are the I16 heads you have?

Pokey I haven't tried any of the build your own stuff, no patience for it...not to mention my eyesight for super close up work. Your experience with the Protank is pretty much mine. I tried both the Protank heads and the evod heads, as well as the T3s. Not my gig, I'm still a tanked Fusion gal, but had the extra cash to play with so I'll try this I30 :)

Evening all!

Good evening all, back from class and had supper. Happy Anniversary Fran. :toast:

I had an aha moment earlier. Well actually I think you could say I had a brain fart earlier. I had a 3.0 ohm head in the ARO on my eGo and a 2.4ohm in the one on my Buzz lol. I switched them and now they are both more satisfying. I used an ohm's law calculator and I figured out the eGo is @ 5.7w (3.7v X 2.4ohm) and the Buzz is @ 6.7w (4.5v X 3ohm).

Bov, I didn't think I had the patience nor the eyesight for it either. And somedays, I don't :)

A tanked Fusion was my goto forever. You still slotting your own? I remember sharing my love of the dremel here with my fellow BuzzMates...and I remember some fun you had with yours, as well LOL!

Here's hoping you and Moon enjoy the 30s. One never knows until one tries...

Good morning all!

Well it's Mom's personal taxi driver day for me.....dentist and a filling appointment this time...

My friend that I got started vaping has has great success with his clearo...It came from a brick and mortar and I've no idea what it is...It's a top coil w/octopus wicks...I'm betting an i16...What caught my attention is he's almost a month on the same coil and satisfied with the experience....

I hammer my rig relentlessly....Pro Tank 2 still screwed on...The draw and flavor...well it is what it is....Lately I've been mixing Peach w/ Strawberry Coconut....I had a bad experience w/Smoke Tech replacement coils sold as Kanger...other than that I'm good with the PT2....My DiD just sits...Rebuilding isn't an issue for me....wicking however is...I chased the latest and greatest wick material for a few weeks but quiet frankly I ain't got time for that....

The deal with the repairs on the Chevy 4X4 fell thru...A wrecker stopped by and hauled it back too the salvage yard where I picked it up...I'd told the guy the whole time to take the insurance offer...This leaves me with nothing but personal stuff to work on....Some loose ends will be knotted and then it's time for the fall fishing season on the NC Coast...The life and times of an Outlaw...I gotta head to Lowes also...some dirty rat stole my ding dang tape measure...and then lied when asked if he'd seen it anywhere....Measuring sheet is what I do...

BELATED HAPPY ANNIVERSARY FRAN ! I am still w/o my home computer so I have a hard time keeping up.

It's good to know that the i16 and 30 are interchangeable, thanks.

I still like my Protank very much over cartos but I saw such glowing youtube reviews on the 30 thought why not, not too expensive. Hope the heads last like EL D's friend's experience.

Afternoon all! My sleeping seems to be all whacked up lately. Wnt to bed at my usual sleepy headed time of about 3am, woke at 5 and flounced around about an hour and a half before getting back to sleep. Gotta nail down where this weird, bad dream is coming from and exorcise it!

Pokey, I retired my Dremel from carto slotting when Markfm came up with his simple carto punch. I even punch an extrra hole in my Punched Fusions.

Looking forward to trying something new, my iClear has shipped :)
