Slow and steady wins the race, Tracy :)

I love OJ, it just doesn't love me. I get the low acid kind every now and then when I get a hankering for it.

Just got my first scam call wanting my personal details for the ACA enrollment. Beware and don't give your info to anyone who calls you. If you didn't initiate the call, most likely it's a scammer

Ugh! Denrock I only "liked" your post to show I was there and read it.....I certainly do not like it's content. lol I am hearing the same thing from friends just to the north of me. Possible wet snow on Thursday!!! :(

I really hope it doesn't snow before Halloween just seems wrong. Especially this far South even when I lived in Syracuse, NY it didn't happen too often. I grew up about 30 minutes north of Syracuse pretty much from age 4-19.

Thanks kgj! Ya know what? I noticed more then too but didn't realize why at the time. My cell phone is on there too. :) Nothing irritates me more than to receive those calls on my cell. I have a very limited plan which works for me, but you throw those nonsense calls in the mix and it can wreak havoc on a bill in no time. They really should not be allowed to call cells IMHO.

I hope not too Denrock, it's definitely wrong! lol The place just north of me that's calling for wet snow Thurs am is only about a half hours drive. That's way too close this early!

They used to not be abled to call cell phones. I'm not sure exactly when it changed but I believe at one time it was actually illegal. I was just thinking and I realized this winter is going to be the first time I've seen snow in person in about 12 years. I'm still not in any hurry to see any though.

I better visit that registry I've gotten a few of those calls myself. My iPhone is unlimited talk and text but it's still annoying to get those calls.

Let me remind everyone of the Do Not Call Registry.

https://www.donotcall.gov/

It seems to work pretty well. I got lots of junk calls during the shutdown, but now back down to very few.

I signed up for that but it doesn't always work.

I don't give my info to anybody. The bank called one time and I wouldn't give them any info. I called the bank to report it and they said it was indeed them. They hooked me back up with the guy that called and I apologized but told him I am very tight with my info on the web.

Our landline and my cell both are on the Do Not Call list. It helps...some. I still get calls on both phones, we use the answering machine to screen the land line. I also screen calls on my cell. I don't have caller ID but if I haven't added your number to my cell, you're gonna get my voice mail. It's tricky to block numbers on my older model, I created a group to add these spammers to, and have my phone send those numbers straight to voice mail. They rarely leave a message :) If it's a robo call, I ain't got the time of day for it.

It does help. It's voluntary though so you still get the lowlifes that figure if they pester you enough you will go for what they have. Just makes me more determined not to.
