I just checked the hourly forecast and it's gonna be 35 degrees at 9pm tonight when I get out of class and will be waiting for my Sister to come pick me up. Brrr...... I'm taking a hooded sweatshirt and a leather jacket.

Evening everyone! 50 right now, low of 33 tonight. Good snuggle weather!
Spent the afternoon with Katie and her financial adviser. I brought up some concerns about who has her power of attorney if something should happen to her while AH is in prison. He's going to brief her attorney and have him find better alternatives for her. I don't care who gets her estate when her time comes to meet her maker, but no one is going to steal her blind before she goes...not on my watch!
I have to take her to a Dr appt tomorrow morning, just routine annual. Gonna be brrr cold when that alarm clock goes off.

Good evening all. I had a real break through in welding class tonight. I made some minor adjustments in my technique and all of a sudden my beads are looking 10X better than they ever have. It felt good to finally feel like I'm making some real progress.
I hear you DenRock...I've been laying beads for a good long while...Many techs I've worked alongside would say I was the go to guy...I get by but always I'm looking for ways to improve...Stacking dimes ain't easy...I wish you the best with school!!

Dudley NC today....The Sweet Potato harvest is wide open down there...8000 cars claimed to be on this yard...That may be true but 99% are overdue to be mashed flat....Finally found the drive shaft though...I'd already given up when I spied a Mazda pick up...I found the shaft hiding under a load of crap inside the bed....TOUCHDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!
58* here today...The weatherman says that's a mid-December temp for us....Freeze warning for Saturday night....Spring is right around the corner......

Congrats Dem. That's what you have to do. Do it your way. I welded for a good long while too. Gas, ARc, and wire feed. Braising too. Been a good many yrs. since I've done it though. When I quit a frend of mine had just gotten a plasma cutter for his shop. Those were pretty cool.
