1 cup white ACV
1 cup brown ACV
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce{I prefer Texas Pete...Tabasco will work}
1 teaspoon salt {I use sea salt}
1 teaspoon black pepper

Combine and shake...leave sit for at least 24 hours...Shake when you remember to and always shake before use...Though some do refrigeration is not required and I prefer it at room temp. I always throw a tablespoon of crushed red pepper flakes in as well though that's not in the original recipe..Some also substitute mustard powder for the cayenne...It's OK but not as good IMO...Just an old Southern sauce that's great for pork or chicken....A slice of bread tastes mighty fine dipped as well...

Woo Hoo!!! Thanks so much for this and I can't wait to try it!!! :)

Just looked at the radar and NC is totally covered in green....Tis ahh raining and will continue thru tomorrow at least....

You guys are welcome...When one first makes the sauce I'd suggest the chop marinade or cooking and chopping a .......Doesn't hurt to add a little sauce to the pan if you bake those chops either...I think the ACV binds with the pork fat as well...We usually find a much better tasting chopped pork bbq after everything has been together for about a day...Still it ain't bad right out of the chopping box...John Boy and Billy's grilling sauce is very similar...mine doesn't cause cancer though...

Evening everyone :)

Same weekend forecast as Tracy. How's Maddie doing?

And how's your rib feeling, 5'er?

Terrible Bo. At first it was getting better but today it got worse. Swelling up etc. I'm hoping there isn't something else wrong. If it isn't better by tomorrow I'm going to go get it x-rayed.

Barely still morning all :)

5c, I sure hope it's better today, but if not...please go get it looked at!! We want you around for a good long time :wub:

Interesting and mostly sleepless night here. We have a can transformer on the pole right in front of our house. Two weeks ago it tripped about 4am and we had to call CP&L to come out and fix it. I had just snuggled down into bed at 3:30 this morning and off goes the juice again. I gotta say that I was pleased that CP&L got out here within 15 minutes of my call, but the can was dead as a door nail. So I had line men and trucks with their big ole safety lights flashing outside my window until around 9:00 this morning. Got the can replaced so all should be good now.
