We got a small stay on the e-cig bill....Fracking got pushed to the top of the list...I often read the comments on the local WRAL TV 5 site....For the very first time every comment strongly disapproves of our Legislature....We love our mountains, rivers and the Atlantic...Fracking ain't our thing round these parts....
Got the vanity delivered down and the tub in the back of the truck...had to quick strip the door and frame to get the tub outta the bath...Either I got a roll of stretched lineoulem or I stretched it myself...I made a pattern and cut it on the deck in the sun...Won't lay flat in one spot...Gonna pull the toilet and recover the floor as well....Maybe this time it'll be up to spec.....
Truth be known my email has blown up...The NC Conservation Network has called at least a dozen times over the past few days...I've done the CASSA thing...I've called my representative...I've signed the petitions....None of that did one damn bit of good...

I don't think anything the American citizen wants gives a damn to this administration. They do what they want anyway but you gotta keep trying.

Bov I doubt it will get shelved...They seem pretty hellbent on passing it...The fracking thing is being fast tracked...They're even working on a bill to make exposing the chemicals used in fracking a felony...There was a documentary....Gasland....there is a new documentary on fracking coming...Riddle me this....If fracking is safe just why are the chemicals used such a closely guarded secret...Why did Cheney and Halliburton get them exempted from the Clean Air and Water Act????
Trust..... before the first chemical is pumped into the ground I will have a full analysis done on my well....Mess it up and if there is any way possible...Lawsuit....That will likely be made a felony as well....

Got the old lawnmower sinus head today....and a sunburn....Not exactly looking forward to riding another 90 to exchange the tub...Dang mobile home tubs are 54" and regular home tubs are 60"...So you're tied to the mobile size unless you wanna move a wall....Gonna do the exchange today and not much else...
Years of hard core smoking have taken their toll...My forearms bruise easy peasy...the kind of bruise where you can see the blood...Old man skin...Hoping the insides look better than the outsides but kinda doubtful...Longtime neighbor is @ 70...2++ packs of Marlboros a day....more than a few Budweisers a day...Severe leg pain likely due to no circulation as it's a known complication of smoking.....refuses a trip to the doctor...Myself....I can't throw stones as I cannot recall my last doctor visit...Just hope old boy breaks and goes before things get worse....
I'm rolling on....These new laws are taking their effect...The FDA ain't far behind...Good luck to all in the fight........

It just makes no sense to me with all the B&M ecig stores going up all over the place and huge online sales. If they regulate too much they must know they're going to help sign their political death sentence next election with that many people against the regulations. They have enough stuff to answer for on election day without adding more bs.

They are bringing a Medical Jane bill up as well....Restrictive very restrictive...Just where do they think they'll source the goods I wonder...
The tub man ???? Called yesterday am at 8:30...Had the new tub...Today at 2pm story changed to they didn't send it...He had one that measured even less plus had a place that was buffed out....shoulda' been thrown out...Got back home to late to call around but believe this....I'm about to unload on the tub man....It's crazy and I just want my stuff right...

5c, the thing is that there are far too few folks who know what vaping is to care one way or the other about how their representatives vote on the issue. Hell, most people don't have any idea what their state House and Senate are even tossing around in session until things pass into law!
NC GOPs are in fear of the elections in Nov. and voting FOR the vaping tax looks great on the surface, to their constituents who do pay attention. It is smoke and mirrors to look like they are voting against the evils of anything tobacco and cigarette related, and the average voter will have no idea that BT was behind the push. It's one more thing they can claim in their stumping. "If it's sinful, tax it!"

Bov i really think tub man thought I'd knuckle under and take what he had...53 and 3/4 back as should be....53 and 1/4 front and to rigid to pull down the 1/2 it's short...After all the stress lately I just got the hell outta there...Sometimes you gotta take a step back before sheet turns ugly...I'm wise beyond my years....Actually gonna call around and try and find some tubs I can lay a tape on...The hell with the price at this point if I find one that fits tub man will be told to have my cash at the ready else he deals with the consequences...I got better things to do than travel state line to state line daily....
I agree LD. There's been too many times I've regretted saying what was on my mind in anger. I've finally learned to keep my big pie hole shut until I think about it when I'm mad. Then if I still have the same thought after I cool down I let her fly.

When she was railing and slamming doors last night, all I said was "You can be mad if it makes you feel better, but the yard still won't get mowed until I get to it." Calm and collected, then walked away. When she set her sights on dragging the BBQ grill to the curb this morning because "no one takes care of it" I asked if she wanted me to move it for her
I can only do so much in one day, and I'm trying to remember that her anger is her problem. By this evening she was over it, it's still gonna rain for a couple of days, and I'll just put the bagger on the mower when the grass is dry enough to cut.

5 when I'm mad like I was today I can say some pretty evil things...Plus there's always things I think of later that I wish I'd said...The guy has put forth some effort though I feel not enough,,,,I left him with one last shot or a refund that he agreed to...Trust that if I find a tub with the correct width front and back his only option will be refund...Guess I'll just have to eat all that gas...This situation is almost comical...I will not quit until everything is up to my standards...I gotta live with it....
Fran I'm looking for a break for sure....It'll be better soon...
Linoleum.....I finally spelled it correctly....Lowe's had some lay flat years back of high quality...The new brand at Lowes....DON"T BUY IT!!!!!!!!!! It's on a roll BTW....I found some stick down squares at Home Depot...Great reviews and soon to be in the Ranger headed South....Hopefully with a tub in tow!!!!!!
