Thanks to all the servicemen whom have fought defending our freedom !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the link Bov...RJR's Vuse e-cig??? Bet your bottom dollar I'll never suggest anyone but one of those...10 to 1 whatever juice it's loaded with will be full of addictive chemicals and 110% FDA approved...McCoury and RJR's Cameron coming together to announce the 200 jobs that may be one day created....The hell with the B&Ms and the way more than 200 created statewide and not just in Tobaccoville...This new laws main purpose was just to create a monopoly for RJR...We build the industry they steal it....

Tis a ghost town round these parts as everyone is at the beach...Personally I don't do the holidaze weekends at the beach...I gotta important business meeting here in a few as well...Then I will head down to the coast and cut some grass....spray some dandelions and pull up some linoleum...The next tub on my list is in Laurinburg, NC...the home of Campbell Soup and @ 75 miles down the road... The tub yesterday measured fine but the surround was 40 and the tub is 42...While it will work it will make for complex trim that will always look gitchity...I don't do the gitch...Laurinburg's tub is 42 all the way around...One straight piece of molding instead of two 45s in the middle of the trim...Not gitchity!!

Good luck with those hedges Bov! They're wicked things. :(

Well, our pool is up and filling as I type this. Yay!! The geraniums did not trip my trigger so they are now in a spot at the very back of my yard and I planted the yard entrance planters with some spiky dracaena, some dark purple sweet potato vines, dusty millers, and petunias! Much more to my liking!!! :) Alot of work, but well worth it. I will NEVER buy geraniums again. (unless they keep the skeeters away!)

I still need to get my <3 Hibuscus <3 in memory of my Dad. They looked pretty scrawny when I was out looking earlier this month, so I will keep checking back until I find the one I want. I miss my Dad. Everytime I'm out flower/plant shopping, he comes to my mind and I even find myself silently talking to him. "Dad, you said these go well with these, right?" "These don't like wet roots", "Feel the plant to know when it needs water, you'll get it". The man taught me everything I know about them as well as fish keeping. No one can ever take that away. :)

Enjoy your day everyone!

Tracy that's so cool. I talk to my late brother all the time but out loud. I can feel his presents sometimes. Maybe I'm goofy but hey, who knows? You'll never know till you been there if it's possible and it's not hurting anyone.
The Plants and flowers sound beautiful. Maybe after it warms up a bit I'll have to stop by for a dip in the pool.

Got the north side hedges done, the west side will wait for another day.

I know what you mean too Tracy, I miss my Mom even tho she's been gone 12 years now. Perhaps it's the reason I have such a soft spot for Katie, even when she's being a pill :)

The flower bed I planted for Katie last week has petunias, red blooming verbena, and a non flowering polka dot plant that has pink foliage spotted with green (pic below). The cosmos, morning glories, zinnias, and sunflowers that I seeded are all coming along nicely.

Buahaha! All the little wing ding maple seeds covered the back stoop and walk from a good breeze that came thru. Katie is going OCD about it! If I were a bettin' person, I'd say it'll be about 15 minutes before she wants me to get the blower out and blow them away from the house

    That's a tad much,Bov.............
