Glad to hear the camping trip went well Fran !!!!

The weather here has been quiet nice as of late...Started the day off yesterday installing a starter on a boat....Test fire up and the dang thing was outta gas....Ran wonderfully after I got back from the gas station...Missed the SmokeOut Rally as the last few days left me to tired to head down there...The shop is organized and the Ranger is clean and ready for the transmission swap to begin...It was filthy.....yet another Mom too the doc at 10am....Went thru my plumbing supplies to prevent buying what was already here for the beach....Snuck in a motorcycle ride and a little dog rubbing today as well....

Trust....I'd been jonesing for the ProV Mini a good while.....So far I'm more than pleased with the short battery set up...The new kayfun is awesome as well...I got Dragon's Blood and Snake Oil at the ready now....

Oooooohh Sweet Pokey!!

LOL, You haven't changed a bit!!! LOL!!!

Nope, haven't changed a bit, I am aging like a fine wine that has yet to oxidize past the point of no return :)

Great to finally here from you TT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kure Beach is about 40 miles from my beach crib...My old stomping grounds...Kure, Carolina Beach and the World's Famous Snow's Cut...After sitting by the road last time waiting to sign for FedX....damn straight I checked no signature....not an option last time...Then as luck would have it Monster Kenny hit me with a signature...they were holding my new Mini hostage at the Post Office...Not anymore!!!! Already built and puffing away...So far the Mini is definitely that....Mini...Got it set up with the SvoeMesto nano tank requiring the original KF tip too be used...Gonna look into drilling out my new orange Rampage tip soon...I'd heard some changes were made too the 2nd version of the KF...Deeper o-ring for the chimney and the deck sits lower now...While I had no problems with version one I gotta say after one set up and a little vaping I like what I see...Looks like the lowered deck will improve wicking...It was fine before but better is better,,,tastes more saturated with flavor...I've been on Snake Oil though and have Dragon's Blood in the Mini,,,,that likely is responsible...Just a tad tougher to position the wick into the shallower well...Note you gotta wash the KF good as some machining oils will be present...The Mini was sticky as well...Wet paper towel trick solved that...No whistling on this KF either...STOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh, so close yet so far away...

Mine is no longer hostage, either, a worthy round trip to rescue the KFL+ V2 from its prison, the FedEx holding room. Still tweaking a bit, I have a little learning curve to master yet on the wick placement and length, easily managed by an occasional primer puff right now, and STOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as well—more so each passing day (all two of them). Going to recoil and rewick when tank is empty but happy, happy, happy with it, using a SuperT DT much better than the included, IMO. And NO whistlin', woot! The flavor is strong, I had to turn the volts down (coil is a bit less ohmage than I usually wrap, but that's what VV is for, right?)

Have you had to tweak recipe percentages, Dee? Just curious—many I've noted have had to decrease nic mg...

That leaves me out. Good morning Notcigs people.

Leaves me out as well, 5C ;)

Good morning, peeps!

Pokey flavor and nicotine both required adjustment...Rolling with the chain vape set at 8mg/ml nicotine...flavor @ 10~12%...My first coil in the V2 is either my best ever or the V2 outperforms the V1...I'm thinking the drop in deck height resulted is better flavor saturation...Seems that way at least...I cut my wick @ 1/4 inch over the barrel...then I tuck one side into the corner of the well and lightly push the tail of the wick too the bottom of the well...I then do the same on the other side but push the wick into the corner opposite the first...One goes left one right....Just be mindful of the channel where the juice enters and don't pack it shut...When all is new I saturate everything prior too the chimney and when assembled give it a couple of good primer puff power drags..Glad you like it...Best topper available for convenience and performance IMO.....

Wonderful 2 hour sit in the car waiting on Mom today...It was high noon and 96* as well.....Trying too balance another beach trip with duties here...the 4th approaching...a tropical depression scheduled to be here Thursday...Mom worrying the crap outta me about when we're going...Thursday would be best for me but I gotta haul the drawers for the vanity and they ain't exactly tropical depression proof....My Sis' family has been down there over a week and Mom is wanting to spend the 4th with them...I also located the required clutch and brake pedals I need today and have a long awaited transmission gasket arriving tomorrow...that dang gasket almost got into the tub category as far as difficulty to acquire goes..so I got a spare!!!!

Night Fran :)

You make me feel tired with all you have going Dee! I saw that tropical depression in the weather, hope it doesn't create too much havoc.

It was 92* in Katie's bedroom at sunset, but she still won't let my put her ac in. I put my window fan in her window and got it down to 84 by the time she went to bed and made me take the fan out.

When is it time to worry about her as far as the heat? I know that some elderly folks don't seem to notice how hot it gets.

Good morning, Fran, everyone!

I wrapped a new coil, turned it a bit between the posts and trimmed the wicks as you suggested, Dee. I also tucked them into opposite corners...BINGO! All is well, better than well...many thanks for all your and Wharf's help with this new adventure. It is so nice to find a tank that works for me!

Bov, many of my elderly people tolerate the heat incredibly well. No A/C and they are bundled up with layers of clothes. I sit there pouring sweat while visiting them—they are cool as cucumbers. It is often a relief to get outside the house (where it's 90*+) just to cool off and be where the air is moving.

I would think as long as she is comfortable and remembers to drink plenty of water/fluids that Miss K. will be just fine.

I haven't looked at the weather  I hope you can find a way to juggle the vanity, mom and the family beach trip for the fourth, Dee.
You've got your hands full! Keep on keepin' on...

Keep is one of those really odd looking words when you stop and notice? I notice such things
