Just past morning all! If there are any B&M stores near me, I haven't heard of them...but I don't get out of my woman cave much ;) Same as Salem, diy for around 2 years.

Piddled with my car amp a bit this morning, adjusting the gain and base boost. It's an old MTX Thunder 2002. I's like to replace my front factory speakers, but Hyundai likes to be persnickety about their 3 hole mounting method. Don't want to rip into my side panels and discover I have to mod the mount. S'pose I could take a ride down to the junk yard and see if I can get some used ones out of a Hyundai. Lazy day, sounds like too much effort

I just checked Crutchfield. A 2003 Hyundai Accent doesn't need an adapter for the front speakers, but does for the rear deck speakers.

Greetings to all and thank you Salem for inviting me.

I'll have to make a quick entrance and exit though. My Sunday has been somewhat eventful. My power steering went out while doing 65 on the Interstate this afternoon. Came home and started doing a lengthy google search on the issue. I had to stop around 6 PM so I could go over to a friends house to fill the water wells for her 8 ducks. Came back home and continued with my google search. Which was interrupted by an uninvited guest... a bat started flying around my living room. It was big, black, and ugly! Since my household consist of myself, 20 yr old daughter, anxiety ridden dog, and a cat. My cat was very much into greeting our guest, the rest of us ran for the hills. While I held up a sheet over the door between the living room and dinning room, to keep the bat contained and the cat out, my daughter called her ex-boyfriend (she has been looking for a good reason to call him) to come over and save us, LOL! 30 minutes later, the ex-boyfriend went in, armed with a broom, and whacked the bat out the front door. My daughter is happy because she got to see her Ex, my cat is mad because the only excitement he has had, in a long time, was short lived, my dog is pacing around the house making sure all his toys hasn't been touched, and I am now ready to break out the Xanax.

Just a normal day here, how was your Sunday???

Glad you decided to join us sluers. Sounds like your going to fit in nicely around here. I bet that bat thinks twice about visiting you again.

Hi guys! I have been busy with the zen/minimalist concept in the house.....Working on the last bedroom. Starting with a closet. Starting Tues with pulling out stapes-carept pad, removing carpeting and washing walls/vacuuming walls. Have to be OCD before painting semi-gloss walls. I think I will have a big rummage sale.

I hope it all comes out good for you Sdh.

Beautiful Baldwinsville (CNY)
With the boat equipment storage box done, this past weekend I set up the second AC at camp, cleaned the main room of the bunkhouse for bulk wood cutting, built a table for the compound miter saw, picked up a new weed whacker (my old gas one is bulky and a PITA, the battery one works well but I'd have to buy a set of lithium batteries to get good run time -- the new gas one runs well and is light).

Time to re-stake the layout for the deck. The holes and quicktubes for the foundations are in place, but I need the lines out to ensure everything is properly centered when I place the post bases. With any luck tomorrow will be a concrete day, using the little harbor freight mixer. Miter laser guide should be in late this week (new saw was an excellent price, but no laser, and I really like the laser on my home saw).
