I'm a glutton for punishment :) I got the old screening and spline holders removed from the harder to reach wall sections of the porch, not happy with the existing rail on the porch -- pretty loose/shaky, some of it just beat up, would be a hassle to repaint. I'll yank the old stuff, put in new. I've already picked up the balusters, some 2x4s, angles to attach rails to the posts. A lot easier to do this now, with the old rails accessible, than later, after the new screen is attached.

Howdy Fran, kgj. Hows trix? Beautiful here today ! Who's the Bears gonna whoop on next week? :D Oh I see it's the Lions at their place.

I'm still feelin a bit puny but not as bad as I think Tracy was. Sore throat didn't persist anyway and the nose stopped just that tired achy feeling. Yech thank goodness for tylenol and coffee.

Afternoon all! Mark, good call on the porch. Better to do it now while it's all exposed.

Moon, glad you're feeling better...take your meds ;)

I've had just the most fabulous day so far...not! I went to be at my usual time, about 3:30am. Katie wakes me up at 4:30 and tells me that she forgot to tell me she wants me to take her car to the Hyundai dealership for an oil change and tire rotation. She made the appt for 8am  Hyundai really needs to put in some quiet rooms with cots for those of us who have OCD MILs!!

Beautiful day here tho, so I left the grumpies behind. Definitely a nap coming after I eat lunch lol

John says 2010 between May and July for the first Buzz.

This is the date off my first Buzz test. "04/28/2010 ". The test agreements were sent to us on 04/02/2010. My Beta Buzz is still working great and I still use it. It has never failed to work.

My beta Buzz Pro went MIA about 6 or 8 months ago. I had been mailing it out as a loaner to people who didn't have a back up when they needed repairs, someone decided that they didn't want to mail it back  I hope they are giving it the love it deserves!

You're right Den, I hope TT didn't get into his armadillo's whiskey bottle!

Evening all :)

Good evening everyone!!!! I cannot believe how long it takes me to fire up the pc and sit down these days! Middle dd's Senior Option sure throws a big old wrench into things for me.
I drop the little one off at kindergarten @ 10 of 8, middle dd gets picked up at 10:45. That leaves me 2 hours and 45 mins to clean and shower, and I usually drop by to see my Mom in there as well. After she gets home we usually end up running errands together or something, then maybe a quick nap. Before ya know it it's time to get the little one!!!

TT, where are ya buddy??? After reading that paragraph above I'll bet he needs a nap!! ;) Just playing TT, I do hope everything is ok.

Moonlit, I'm happy to hear you are on the mend, and yes it's definitely a lot quicker than the strain of whatever I had was. We are STILL blowing noses here in Jersey!!! It's beyond ridiculous.

Bov, I do hope you got that nap girl!!! :)

Wharf, I actually believed you for a minute there with the date of the release of the first Buzz!!! :p

I knew you'd know it 5c!!!

Mark, great thinking on the deck!!! I'm sure you'll be glad you did it now rather than later!

Kgj, enjoy your football!!!

Denrock, How's that beautiful blue BP treating ya?

About a 45" drop if someone walks off the side, but I'm a believer in Darwin :D

I saw a resulting consequence of his theory in action this past Sunday at work, actually.
The guy/patient miscalculated the location of the edge of his porch at 3am, took a 42" tumble and completely dislocated his shoulder—the degree severe enough that his affected arm was hanging a foot or so lower than the unaffected.

Hard ground, soft brain.

Good morning over here!
