The bottom dropped out on the temps today. Got up to 54 then drizzle, then breezy down around 34 now headed for 19, wow. I guess it's heading east. Lookout !!!

Maddie's parent/teacher conference went very well this afternoon. The wee one is doing well. She still is hoping to see her come out of her shell a bit more....I told her I don't know if that'll make me happy or scare me to death! lol Just like her big sister Lauren, she's so different at school than she is at home. (that's a good thing in both cases!) lol In other words, she's leaving her "Madditude" here at home. Thank God!!

The day was salvaged as I talked with the gent who came to take me back to get Katie's car. He shuttles customers all over Hartford county, makes the parts runs, goes to get lunches for the people who work at the dealership, etc. I was both humbled and grateful after hearing that he'd been driving for 12 hours today! How easily we forget others when we indulge only in ourselves

A good night here...downloading some music, cooking chicken breasts for my lunches for the week.
Since it's gonna snow whether I like it or not, I've decided I'll enjoy watching it fall if I'm still awake. It's easier to enjoy when you know you won't have to shovel. And watching snow fall in the wee hours is so peaceful

Good evening all, well morning actually since it's going on 1:30 am. I just peeked out the back door and yup it is snowing here. You can see a bit on the grill and on the swing set out back.
Forecast 22* tonight...Say Whaaaa?????? Up at 9am as well.....With 22* on the way I absolutely must get my gas logs hooked and fired up...or FREEZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gonna get some snow as well....I should be standing at an intersection hawking milk and bread....Forecast for snow equals no bread nor milk at any super market.....

I think we must have gotten the better part of an inch by 5am last night. Right now there is still a few patches in the grass it's melting away but I expected it to be long gone by the time I woke up.

I don't know what the temp is right now but I can assure you it SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Spitting snow and the wind chill is outta hand....Hurry Springtime!!!!!!!!!!
I got the gas log situation rectified....We now have a 3X10 deck out in the edge of the woods for the tanks to sit on...Added a shut off valve out there as well...It's more or less to trap that dang line full of propane when you unhook it from the tank....I spent a good 10 minutes with the pilot plunger pushed in draining the air out today...Now I can slide that heavy azz tank out of the truck bed and onto a solid platform....Tis much easier now....and warm as toast in here....I keep the A/C higher than most and the heat as well....
As great as the I 16 is I can't help but think the 30s will rock and roll....Dual top coils being the key....I had one in my hot little hands yesterday...I really like the looks of the new center tube...the top cap on the tank is snazzy as well...Overall it looks to be very well made...I was under the impression the tip was interchangable...Tis not and it's the same swivel vase style as before...Personally I prefer glass or plastic...the clerk was giving it a bad rap as well...looking back on that I think she had an ulterior motive...She had one on her Innokin box mod and kept blowing out very thin vapor...She had the new Innokin VTR or whatever that box is called...It's chrome plated brass and a big old chunk of it....IMO chrome plating kinda sucks as well...I much prefer the metal to be of enough quality that it can be polished or machine finished..The guy that orders stuff slid me a Aspire regular size Vivi...Hey I've sure given him enough heads up on this and that and some juice as well....not mentioning the customers I've sent his way...I didn't mention I had 2 on the way...He only had the one Aspire and no coils...I have those coming as well...2.1s....I'm running the included 1.8 now...I've not run it enough for a solid feel as of yet...It's good so far and my only hit on it is the center pin...WTH they don't let those things protrude a thousandth I'll never know...It seems to be easy on the juice as well and definitely not a hog...That's a plus...I'm liking it so far but it hasn't had time for the seal of Evel approval....That dang Davide????? Just about impossible to get....
