Today was epic...Almost hit 80*....I got to sweating pretty good this afternoon....Temps should have already fallen and not gonna be outta the 50s for the next few.....
After the aspartame fiasco I searched high and low for a suitable alternative....Meaning a commercial diet something or other...No such luck...I switched too regular Pepsi and high fructose corn syrup for a caffine boost beverage....My newest idea is home made sweet tea....Hey I've never in my life attempted too make tea...I've got unlimited reverse osmosis filtered water and it makes a huge difference in my coffee....I gotta debate my form of sweetner....coconut palm or regular unrefined sugar likely....I had some agave`and then I hear it's as bad as corn syrup....tastes like azz any how....This Suzy Home Maker stuff.......

Dammit! Talking about junk food reminded me I forgot to look for the new Lays Chocolate Covered Potato Chips today 
Dee, as little sugar as I use for coffee, tea and such, I just use plain old granulated sugar. I'm of the mind that if it was good enough for my great grandma, it's good enough for me. As you can see from my statement above...I'm not exactly a health food person.

Did some one say fiasco? I had an extension that was not working so I followed this guys advice and deleted Chrome. I use a third party uninstaller that cleans every mention of a program off my PC. When I re-installed Chrome All my bookmarks, about 400 of them from over 4 yrs. are gone.
I went to the eye doc appt. He said "your vision really does change huh?" I told him it changed again in the hr. I sat waiting for him. Here's the next plan of action. He's going to reshape my eye with a laser to get it to stop changing. If that don't work I have to go through another transplant. He's been working on this transplant since August of 2010. I'm going to end up being the new 6 million dollar man before I can see right again.
Oh and it was dark when I left his office and raining hard. I went to lower my steering wheel and it wouldn't relock so I had it flopping all over the place on the way home, at night, raining, with bad eyesight. Try that sometime.

Popcorn sounds good I think I'll pop a bag and watch 1 more movie before I go to bed.
We have a light dusting of snow on the vehicles and deck. Nothing on the ground.

No snow for us, but the wind is wicked today. Got our new thermostat installed, so now I can monitor where Katie sets the heat and keep her from turning it up to 80* when she thinks it's cold downstairs.

Buahahaha Moon! I've seriously considered one of those! Hopefully the sour milk will be remedied within a few days
Heat set too 80**....Hey now I don't like cold one little bit...The other night it was warm but forecast too turn off cold...I turned the little heater on too get a running start and promptly fell asleep in the recliner....There I began dreaming of being trapped in the artic.....I awoke too find the heater had brought the temp up too 78** and triggered the AC....The recliner is located where the AC will blow right on it....The little heater....not so much....
Hecho in Mexico....Last week I saw where Coke USA was pressuring Coke Mexico to switch too high fructose corn sheet....That stuff is known in Dixie as corn squeezins....and good for only one thing...not sweetin" your beverages either...Coke Mexico exports more Coke here than is sold in Mexico and promptly told Coke USA too kiss it....Neither product is available here....

When was the last time you heard research had found a cure for well.....anything??? Last week a new drug was approved by the FDA....Pretty sure it's name is Zohydro...A cleaner form of Oxycontin....less acetometiphin errr something....Cleaner form will be easier too crush and inject/snort....We're talking about a drug that leads ....... and heorin combined in overdose death...It don't come from Columbia nor Afghanistan either...Good old Big Pharma Cartel....From where I'm sitting a clean pain killer would be fine...I tend too get fekked up from time too time and sometimes need a pain killer....rarely but sometimes and the regular stuff constipates me for days....Just looks to me as if abuse could be made rather hard....seeing a prescription is required....but then we live in a country where bath salts are sold in single bath packages beside the register down to the inconvience store....like the chemist who formulated the bath salts didn't know exactly what the outcome of that would be....Life in the good old USuvA...

I read about that "cleaner" form recently Dee, and my first thought was how many ODs there are gonna be. I guess it's a big thing everywhere, but I know it's a big thing here. We all know that Big Pharma doesn't give a damn about anything but the almighty dollar. We recently had in the news a bunch of dead folks from a bad batch of H on the streets. I don't begrudge anyone a little relaxing, as long as they can keep their grip...but yall already know why I'm biased in this arena.
We've been having a string of pharmacy robberies over the past few months. Not break ins...down right, walk in there during broad daylight, putting everyone down on the floor robberies. Moon's graphic triggered a funny memory of mine.....When in my senior year of high school I and a boyfriend moved into the apartment above my Dad (Dad's house) and he had a locking thing-a-ma-bobber on the thermostat. Well I sat there freezing for a couple of weeks before a little green light went off in my head......whenever I was chilly I put a ziploc baggie of ice cubes on top of that sucker and BAM! I was warm as toast!
I only let my Dad in on that a few years ago, and he laughed and said, "You brat, I always said you got your looks from your Mom but your brains from me!" lol
