Morning and afternoon all! Another trip to the dentist for Katie today. This one had to be pulled too, it was a wisdom tooth. She has two more that need to be worked on and then her dentist will make a new bridge for her. I spent some time on the phone with Medicare and her ConnectCare to discover (much to her delight) that she does have dental insurance, so that will help out a great deal.

Brought Katie home, went back to the grocery store and picked up some things that will be easier for her to eat...protein shakes, yogurt, etc. Poor old gal is hungry!

Tracy, I don't envy your trip to the DMV if it's anything like ours...take a number and wait the rest of the day.

Just a quick fly by to say hello. I finally decided on buying a nautilus. I hope it lives up to the hype. Dh gave me a new project to work on. I am restoring a area under the porch. It is a reinforced concrete room. about 4 feet by 15. We just need to repaint the concrete. (However, I need to clean because I use to smoke in the basement). I am converting it to a walk in food storage area. I think hubs thinks I play on the computer to much. :D

The sign above my local hardware reads...If we don't have it.....you don't need it.......

I needed a repair flange for the long out dated cast iron pipe I mentioned yesterday...I surfed the options and was a little uneasy when I saw what was offered....Fact is I hardly slept a dang wink...The local hardware carried a repair flange by Oatey....Hey.....NO LEAKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Support you local hardware store....Not the Home Cheapo or Lowes.........

I got a good 5 days from my first kayfun wick...The coil remains very functional....Trust if you try one nothing else minus a re-buildable dripper comes close...Now I have my eye on an Nzonic mechanical topped with a Trident atty....Sweet little rig w/a 18350 and capable of holding a kicked 18650...Best of all my local B&M has them both...I about fell over!!!!!!!! There was a very noticeable difference in nicotine delivery and flavor as well with the KayFun...I've been using the I 30S and I16 for backups....The KF teamed with the Trident will require both nic and flavor too be reduced...There is no way I can chain vape the KF like I have all my other devices...and I'm at 12mg....Gonna try a 1/4 cut on my remaining juices....should yield flavor and nic at 8% and 8mg/ml respectively...Flavor and nic stocks should remain much more stable and that's GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

I wish the local shop had RBas but they don't. I see mostly beginner stuff at a very inflated price. If I worked more I would probably buy local but I work limited hours. I have some rba's but looking for a easy build rba tank that I can build a single coil and be done with it. Of course, I have to wait to purchase next month because I went over my budget on ecig stuff.

Hey Sdh :) Like Tracy, my old treadmill made a great clothes rack

Dee, glad you found the right flange to fix your mom's throne. Our local hardware store is great for carrying old house repair stuff too. A lot of the houses around our neighborhood started out as the old Sears and Roebuck houses. We're in a hood that was built right after WW II.

SDH I'm over budget on everything...I've been hammering away at those bills and can see the light at the end of the tunnel....tis dim but visible....The only single coil I know of is made by Youde...the Igo L if I'm not mistaken...Originally I wanted an Igo W4...Then I screwed the Trident onto the Nzonic....Sweet!!!!!!!!! It' a dual coil and that pretty much requires a mechanical mod...I love the Nzonic in 18350 mode though the new Sony 18650 is nice as well....I don't really plan on using it as my go to daily though....

Bov a good source of supply is def needed for an older home...I stepped into Lowes a couple of years back with two shower valve cartridges...I was told by the teenager that was no longer available...As I was leaving the plumbing supply section I spied a rack of cartridges and hell yeah there they were...Oh...I guess we do have them was the teens reply...China product so they stayed at Lowes...I waited for the next morning when the local hardware was open...I needed it and they knew right away they had them...Mom is looking for the floor tile install bill...When found I double dang promise to go 5CS on that azz...

Yep, if I need something cheap and quick, I'll go to Lowes, but we have 2 local True Values and both gents who run the stores are always ready to help. They've even helped me with carto tank o rings and such. I like being able to go in there and tell them what I'm trying to do and they always have a brain in their heads ready to think :)

Poor Katie was so convinced that it was a bottom tooth that was giving her pain and that the dentist pulled today! She came to be a bit ago asking me why her hole was still oozing and bleeding...she'd been chomping those gauze pads in the wrong spot! I guess she forgot that she had a missing tooth on the bottom for a long time, and she'd been keeping the gauze in that spot. I hate that I can't make her feel better right now, but tomorrow will be a better day for her I hope! You can bet I'm keeping my eye on her even when she tells me she's ok.

I hesitate to bring this up, because my inspiration to do so came out of girl talk and I'm afraid my commenting castrates me, but here it is: on the treadmill thing—and the motivation to actually use it—don't do it. don't buy it.

On the surface, it appears to make sense. But you're alone in your house, able to make any decision you want to without anyone seeing. So, naturally, you make all the wrong decisions, like blowing off 30 minutes on the treadmill in favor of 25 or 30 buffalo chicken wings while watching Ryan's Hope.

You salve your conscience by noting that you're eating leftovers from last night. You're saving food. The starving people in China who make our RBA knockoffs (while buying our debt and slowly, imperceptibly owning us) live to see another day, fortified by a masticated chicken wing.

And your whiz-bang treadmill collects all the dust a $300 mistake is able.

Do this instead: join a gym. Yes, it appears to make less $ sense, but there's a motivational factor. People see you. They notice five pounds of chicken fat—or not. It gets you off the couch, and you don't have that $300 paperweight staring you in the face.
