Send me his address Bov...I'll fly him a kite...

Just threw together an old family BBQ sauce recipe...All natural ingredients....It's an old style Eastern NC sauce for pork and chicken...Heavy on the ACV{vinegar} just like we like it....If you've ever had Eastern NC pulled and chopped pork BBQ and would like to replicate that at home this sauce will make it FLY!!!!! I also marinate pork chops in it before grilling,,,,Just baste the cooking chicken with it...It doesn't burn while cooking...I'll post if anyone would like it...

Mmmmm, that sounds like a little bit of Heaven, Dee! Can't find good BBQ up here! Love me some pulled pork sammiches :)

Thanks Tracy, doesn't mean he won't be a azz wipe, but it means the judge will tell him too late to whine. He said in his letter the other day that someone jumped him (his version) and now he has a broken off tooth.

1 cup white ACV
1 cup brown ACV
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce{I prefer Texas Pete...Tabasco will work}
1 teaspoon salt {I use sea salt}
1 teaspoon black pepper

Combine and shake...leave sit for at least 24 hours...Shake when you remember to and always shake before use...Though some do refrigeration is not required and I prefer it at room temp. I always throw a tablespoon of crushed red pepper flakes in as well though that's not in the original recipe..Some also substitute mustard powder for the cayenne...It's OK but not as good IMO...Just an old Southern sauce that's great for pork or chicken....A slice of bread tastes mighty fine dipped as well...

I'd suggest making the sauce according too the recipe the first time and note it's a cooking sauce...I marinate chops in it a couple of hours prior too grilling...I think the ACV may make the meat more tender when marinated...The original and best use of the sauce is poured directly over chopped pork...

I found the best method for easy egg peeling is let them sit for about a week and add salt to the water...I tried Arm and Hammer as well and found little effect from that,,,Even tried ACV and found no effect with that as well...

Jimmy Buffett is in town next week...My long bestie/cousin/brother has promised me a ticket...His crew is having a big party beforehand...Personally I find Jimmy to be quiet boring and truth be told I hope I slip through the cracks on this one...Rob Zombie is in Myrtle Beach....Now that....Well way better than JB....

Afternoon all! Boy Dee, now I'm hungry!! Thanks for the recipe :)

Called for a grooming appt for Chase this morning and the girl said to bring him on down. I got him there only to discover that their groomer quit 2 weeks ago and hasn't been replaced...WTH! She couldn't have told me that on the phone before I wasted my gas (and Chase's nerves)? She was hoping I'd let her do a bath and nail clipping since I was there. I got a new groomer lined up for Monday.

Wally World for dog and cat food, gas for the lawn mower, hopefully I'm done for the day.

Moon, how is Sugar doing?
