We used to throw used coffee grounds were we had our worms. Not a bunch but a little every now and then.
There is a lot of tornadoes covering the whole east side of the US LD. Don't take any chances buddy. Just be safe.

Lol you weren't in a bubble Bov, yesterday was gorgeous here too. Today and tomorrow it's supposed to be 48. Much better than the low 40s they were forecasting earlier.

Gloomy and cool here...Feels too cool for a tornado...Still the news says elevated risk...Days like this make me wish I had a nice NOAA portable radio...I have a Radio Shack model that doesn't pick up squat...May head to the Bay and see if I can find an old school multi- band with a large antenna....

Dee, you are at higher risk because that warm air is coming up from the south to collide with your cooler air. Scary stuff, and I remember it all too well from living in the south most of my life.
5, that vid brings tears to me. I was watching the weather channel coverage last night while three tornadoes were going thru Alabama, just sw of Birmingham

Same here Tracy, just started a misty rain awhile ago. The weather is calling for 1-3" of rain, which of course put Katie into panic mode.

Believe it when I say the sheet is hitting the fan here....I was picking up some ivomectin for Spike at Southern Gin and Grain earlier and was caught in a terrible storm...I left and was at a stoplight when I saw a huge funnel dropping down...Someone grabbed a pic of it about 5 miles from where I was sitting...Hauled ... is what I did....

Scary indeed! So far I've accounted for several old friends in Arkansas who are safe, and an aunt in Alabama who was very close to last night's twisters, but is also safe.
