I hope you have a great time anyway Fran. It's still rainy and wicked humid here, but the temp is in the mid 70's.

Seems the poison ivy found me yesterday when I was pruning the hedges. My pics would be far safer than Dee's tho So far it's popping up on my left hand and around my left ankle.

Bov last week I read to wash poison ivy with blue Dawn dish soap...Helps remove the poison ivy's oil from the skin...Don't help with ticks....YMMV

Had to rebuild My Buzz today. The switch fried. Put a different switch and she's good to go but with almost no eyesight it was fun.

Thanks Dee, I should have done that as soon as I came in from the yard yesterday. Waited until about 10:30 last night to take a long, soaking bath, but woke up this morning with the small patches of rash. I already had some cortisone cream and that has stopped the itching.

I bet that was fun with your vision, 5c. Glad you got it fixed tho

It is a very chilly 64 here today. Grilled some ribs for dinner, perfect grilling weather! Tomorrow's a bit warmer and we are hoping to swim!

Yesterday and today weren't bad but Friday was a washout. Saturday cooled down real quick late afternoon.

Sorry to here about the camping trip. That's a bummer. It still 90 degrees here but the wind is going at lest 150 mph..... Okay maybe not that bad but it's got to be close.

I remember the dust storms out your way Marti, and the heat. I recall getting over 100 in the summer as the norm, and if it was back down to 85 by midnight you were lucky.

Yep Fran, that little cool front that came in yesterday afternoon had me putting an extra blanket on my bed last night. I know you hate it, but I was in heaven

Our weather has been pretty good lately...very hot mid-afternoon but manageable...I try and save the heavy lifting for the cooler parts of the day....

Repairing a ski boat for a friend...new starter...My price is less than half the boat store and still I killed it....

Ordering up a ton of Ranger 5-speed conversion items tonight...I've debated...searched...debated that and then did it all again at least 400 times...Pretty secure that the best parts at the best prices have been located...Now all I gotta do is marry 'em all together and pray they live in harmony....
