Sure do Fran! Here is our family recipe...
Pickled Eggs and Beets
1 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon
salt
2 cups (or 1 16 oz. can) sliced beets
1 dozen hard boiled eggs
Boil water, vinegar, brown sugar and
salt.
After mixture boils, pour over beets.
Add hard boiled eggs.
Marinate 6 hours...(that six hours thing is complete bull....couple days is more like it)
