Salem and Sdh, I've been reading up a little on a gycemic loading diet for diabetics for my wife. Do you guys know anything about that?

Glycemic loading is pretty much the same thing as glycemic index, but the numbers are referenced to serving size rether than to 50 grams of available carbohydrates. Glycemic index kind of produces misleading numbers. For instance, carrots have a high glycemic index number but you'd have to eat two pounds of carrots to get 50 grams of free carbohydrates. Glycemic loading adjusts the number to represent what you'd see after eating a normal sized portion.

You've got that right sis toto!! It sure takes a lot of women to take care of me!! Of course, I AM low maintenance!

Good morning guys. Sunshine and a little warmer (46 degrees) today. The freezing rain we had wasn't bad enough for us to lose power. Thank goodness for that!

Had a good chuckle this morning. Brother in law had his deer stand over near the old farm across the catfish pond from our place and he paid for a deer lease and moved the stand about 30 miles away. His deer stand and right to hunt didn't cost him anything here where it was.

Well, this morning I looked out the window and there were at least five deer grazing near where his deer stand had been.

So I'm glad he moved his deer stand because I like to have the deer coming around here.

Oh, and he hasn't seen a single deer at the place he moved his deer stand to on his paid lease.

    LOL!!!! Good for him!!

I have heard of it. However, I am on the see food diet right now. Seriously, the diet your talking about touts reversing insulin resistance. I would think it would be worth a try. It seems well balanced.

I am trying to follow a Mediterranean diet. Our concept is trying to use whole foods. The Mediterranean Diet Review

Another diet to consider: http://thepaleodiet.com/getting-started-with-the-paleo-diet/

FDA....Just for once I'd like the government to do what's right for the people...The lobby that pays the most sets the rules...Maybe instead of signing petitions we all should have sent some monies too a collective pool....Money...the only voice heard in Washington....

I know the info is out there for extracting nicotine from tobacco...I'd hate for it to come down to that...

My lying customer....He mentioned the rental car company asked for my phone number..I told him that under no circumstances should my number be given out....Then my phone started ringing...First the rental car company...I missed that one...then the insurance company...that one I got...They wanted to know when I'd be finished with the car...I told them it had been delivered Sunday...I'd no idea the old boy hadn't returned the rental car....He called and was he furious!!!! $75 for two days....I spent my time diagnosing his battery and charging system....my time and money looking into his a/c....then after sitting a few days it was skipping when started....due to a valve cover gasket leaking oil into the well for the spark plug/coil...Ask me how I know his car is known to have this problem...He had tried too blame it all on the wreck and none of it was related..Overall I lost a good day and @$20 outta pocket...I told him the questions I'd asked were to help me in the repair of his car and that due too his untruthfullness it had cost me double the time to make the repairs...He cared not...Then the insurance company called back...He had told them the car was skipping and it was due too the wreck...I informed the insurance agent...He thanked me for repairing the car in a timely manner...Customer or not he best not call me...No more Mr. Nice Guy...Customers like that I don't need...Lying is a serious character flaw...My repairs on the other hand...Looking Good!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just another day in Pair Ahhh Dice...

LOL but dear Toto you are referring to folks who hoard. Do you really think hoarders will part with their "precious".

BUT...But...just figure us into your equation as to how much to get...your hoard am't plus hoard am't for BFFers.....

I am a hoarder too Sdh "after" I get it......meaning I won't use it so that I will always have some....

Of course Toto. Ya know I am just kidding. Heck, I will travel to the edges of the U.S to buy nic if I have to. (Did you think I was going to say the world?) :)

I don't know too much about nic extraction but I do know how to extract tobacco essence if needed. I really don't know what to expect with the so called upcoming regulation. I know allot of fear mongering is happening. I am trying to keep sane. :)

Hey El Dee ... I have an old Ford out there behind the barn that I can let you have real cheap ... like three dollars. The transmission for it is here in the house in the bathtub, but you can put that back together and throw it in the truck in no time. And if you'll bring four wheels and tires you can probably tow ... I mean ... drive it right on home.

Its a little bit of a fixer upper, but I can promise you'll get no phone calls from anybody about it as long as you don't try to get it registered. If you do that the State Troopers might want to chat with you and just remember ... you don't know me and never heard my name!

Its a real steal ... I mean deal at three dollars!
