See! You probably needed one and were able to appreciate it much more than a bottle of perfume :)

Maybe I am just too practical but needs always win out over wants in my world.

I'm very practical too. I accept the vacuum as a gift, but then act a little snarky, and Boom; a new Dooney Burke purse appears!! WinWin! :D

I"m right there with ya salem and lilac! Needs vs Wants. ;)

My gosh tracy. If I ever bought my wife an appliance or tool for any kind of celebration she would have beat me up! I mean, she even expects presents on Halloween and it had better not be an appliance or tool. Gads, she would put a hurting on me!!! Actually, I find that the easiest time to buy things for her.

I've had to quit watching professional wrestling on television because it gave her too many ideas of what to do to me!!!

Enjoy the Keurig Tracy !! Lord knows I can't live without mine....Coffee on demand......WhaaaaaaBaaaammmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vacuum cleaners....Yeah ask me how I know how to spell vacuum...I'm waiting for the 18 month no finance charge offer from Lowes...Gots my eye on the Dyson ball....It does run itself....Right?????

Been on a spin the last couple of days...Went down too Surf City and poured some anti-freeze in the drains yesterday....Fired the lawnmower and let her run for a bit...Picked up some pine combs and limbs...Hopefully we'll have an early Spring...The beach ain't real friendly when it's "boggan weather...

Speaking of limbs...I picked up two pick-up loads today from the yard here....That dang storm was rough and where all those dang limbs come from??????? I did some multi-tasking and destroyed some evidence along with all the junk mail in the fire....Now I smell like smoke....

Looks like the deep freeze is on the way...That kinda sucks!!!!!!!! Pass the propane..............

Wharf the Raider Nation is pulling for the Niners!!!!!!!!!

Oh, things are getting better for me Salem, I'm setting boundaries and letting him deal with his own crap. He was dismayed that I refused to post bond for him on Xmas Eve. Nor will I drive him to his court hearings. The local police have become quite familiar with him in the last year. He now knows that if he gets out of control, the police will be here in a heart beat.

Oh I am enjoying that Keurig ElDee!! I love me some coffee!!! Nothing better than thinking about having a cup, then sipping on one just 2 minutes later!! Ahhhhhhh!

How long have you all had yours? Some of the reviews at QVC do not sound very good!

Bov, I too am so glad you are setting those boundaries, for your own sake. ;)

Tracy the one I've got here at home is going on 4 years...At the time it was the only Keurig...It makes a lot of noise when brewing but works like day 1...I scored a lightly used one off the Craigslist for the beach...Its got the blue light that illuminates the water tank...More cup choices as well...I bought that one this year..During my travels I picked up a reverse osmosis water filter...My water had 4000 parts per million of minerals and such...It comes out of the filter at 4 parts per million...almost pure..I keep 2.5 gallons in a refrigerator dispenser and a 5 gallon bottle that I fill the Keurig with...Bottled water can't touch what I filter and there is a huge difference in the taste of coffee as well...Likely the low mineral content helps the life of the Keurig as well...I got my filter from PWGAZETTE down TT's way. I've dealt with them on numerous occasions and highly recommend them for service and most importantly PRICE !! Those RO filters were expensive as hades everywhere else....

Just got off the phone with my old friend Rod...He's the fellow I sat with on New Years Eve...His Father passed later that night...You know sometimes the man above will put you where you need too be..Like when I rescued Spike...I just feel it was divine intervention...I'm dang glad I went up too Rod's that night...I'm also dang glad I saved that dog...Trust I ain't forgot what that woman did to Spike...back on topic...Rod called earlier and asked if I was interested in a trade....His rich sister got all new furniture a few months back...Gifted Rod 2 big man recliners...Now I got one but there's no comparison to the one Rods got...like a cloud...like a cloud!!!! I'll pick it up tomorrow...Now specifics will remain unknown....but I'm gonna hook that Brutherrr up with double what he asked for...Rod said Miss Della{his Mom} was taking the death of her Husband kinda hard...I knew she would...Ya'll say a word or two for Miss Della....DEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
