My Mainecoon was from a pet store which came as a cast off from a breeder. He had a overbite and no one wanted him....We gave him a good life. He died in 2009 and I adopted 2 cats. I can't do any more. These guys are really active. I try to donate bag food to the no-kill shelter. Not the humane society.
A photo a few weeks before our kitty died. He had a heart condition and hip dysplasia really bad.

Hey Kids I talked to Rosco today he's doing well (no better, no worse) but in get spirits. He's says he's still power vaping his BP, thinks about Mike and the Army a lot and to say hi to all and that he's misses us.
I told him TT, Goldie and Pokey barged into Bov's house and brought the gang and he's tickled pink and so happy to see old friends back together.
He wanted to make sure I convey that he still cherishes all the people he befriended and that befriended him on ECF.
He does hang out some on FB if anyone wants to say Hi.

Sdh, you're cat was a beauty! It's so hard to let them go when it's time. One of the rescues that my ex and I got just passed a couple of days ago and I still can't stop thinking about my old buddy, Frazier. My ex still has 2 of our rescue dogs and another that he rescued after we divorced.
RIP Frazier, he's the Goldie mix licking me in the face.

Next time you talk to him, tell him that my Wonder Cloths are still wonderful! He will know what you mean lol Every time that I use one, I think of him.
Hey Bov-sorry about your loss. Your puppies are so cute. I would start a rescue if I had the funding. Oh, and know how to bypass the goobermint polices.
LOL The village I reside in states that all puppies and kittens be registered. Not going to happen here. Why? They limit your animals. I don't conform to well to goobermint policy. If I did I would have to give up my son's cat...No way. The next door neighbor has 5 cats.

We don't take the death of our animals to heart. The last one I built a Coffin for that was padded and silk lined. Then it was burred in a cement crypt so if we ever sold this place and moved she could come with us.

I really understand. Our maine .... was our first cat. He grew up with our son. My hubs could not bear to bury him. I did.

Okay Tracy, I'm up and moving. Slowly, but moving.
I was just sitting here looking at the computer and thinking about all those poor workaholics out there climbing into their little, yellow Prius and heading for the highway to get to work and tweeting their little Prius horns at each other. Then they get to work and hope they can find a decent parking place so there is time to grab a Mocha Cappuccino and slip into work before the boss who loves them so much discovers they are late again.
Oh, the joys of the workaholics!
And here we sit ... the R_E_T_I_R_E_D gang. Drinking our coffee, vaping some Mocha Cappuccino and looking out the window at our neighbors zipping down the street in a rainbow of various colored Prius's as they throw some secret finger salute to each other and jockey for position at the red light.
And then those wonderful workaholics get to work secure in the knowledge that their first three hours of the day are paying my Social Security and Medicaid. I love them! I absolutely, unequivocally love them! I love them dearly! Bless their hearts!
And as I do this I plan my day. I need to go outside after while and pet my dogs. Maybe ride around on the 4wheeler for a while, I can't miss "The Price Is Right" on television, run by the Coffee Shop and see what all those old men have to say today. Go by the Feed Store and say "hi" to the guys. Stop at the Hardware Store and check out the Sale bin and smile at the big, fat lady with a mustache. Then home for a nice nap.
I sure do envy those workaholics Tracy. Fine folks. Every one of them.
